Isn't it easier to do it all using DAW such as sonar 8 producer. It'll cost less money and the quality is probably better because human can't be as good as computer. Of course you should practice to play live, but when recording for a CD release, is it necessary?
i think you should have put an audix i5 on top of the snare then put the good old 57 on the bottom but music is music and it sounds good man good luck in the future
Wow, that's quite a mic setup. I'd like to hear that NT2A track sometime. It's awesome that you used a speaker on the kick drum too, I wonder if it sounds as good as a decibel meter.
