How the hell can it have changed the lives of many if it hasn't been release yet? lmao. We will se how many lives it changes AFTER it reaches the stores. I (and everbody else I know) hope it's nothing like SS2 or else it's certainly gonna change a few lifes, but not for the better.
He said "Serious Sam has changed the lives of many." as in the character and series. Not "this game has changed the lives of many." Though in a way it has anyway since it's basically a graphical update of the original "Serious Sam: The First Encounter" which like any piece of popular media is likely to change a few lives. It changed the lives of people who became gamers because of it/played it when young (it came out in 2001) and it certainly changed the lives of Croteam themselves.
