no, dojin in this sense is a fan made material, touhou project for example is a dojin game. IOSYS on the otherhand, is a group that makes music and flash videos. Tohou project as i have said is a game. try searching Tohou project gameplay, its a crazy game, pretty hard but addictive. as for the cat, its probably there for comedic effect. anyways, the reason for the dolls mentioned after 1:07, is that all of Alice's dolls are named after places.

The Touhou project is a series of games developed by Team Shanghai Alice, consisting of only one known member "ZUN". The Touhou games themselves are Doujin games too. Just a series so popular that it has spawned dozens of other fan made doujin games based on it, and litteraly hundreds of music rearanges and remixes.

Best way to find out more is to play them. If you'd like to, google 'Doujin Style' to find the whole series for free download. I'd recomend trying "Perfect Cherry Blossom" first.

Easier perhaps, and so is Imperishable Night, but I'd say that Perfect Cherry Blossom is one of the most pure Touhou games. Classic danmaku style, has an English patch, and the difficulty is just right in my opinion, a real challenge but without quite the fiendish difficulty of Embodiment of scarlet devil.

Of course all the games are epic awesome, but I reckon PCB is a good starter.

(And to any who don't know Touhou, yes, the games all have peculiar names. And rock.)

Just trying to put together a list of ten favourites is tough for me. For example there was a time I thought Patchy looked strange and dull, or that Reisen was much cooler than Tewi. But as you find more stuff that includes them you understand their character better and you see how they are all fun in their own way

@sherin154 "Dojin" is fanmade stuff. Touhou Project is a example of a special type of side scrolling shooter called danmaku. Usually, these types of shooters are extremely hard.
