  • WHAT A BEAUTIFUL LANDING!!

    I CRIED!!

  • Where's the pilot suits? Looks like a couple of fellas on a golf outing swiped an A320. NIce vid.

  • @Chrisell training flights

  • @poskyflyer Oh thanks, that makes sense.

  • speaker in AIRBUS is so sad :(! Boeing better ;]

  • smooth but im offended :( im not a retard

  • Gorgeous weather to go flying. I always think the airports / airfields look so much more inviting in that light. Although everytime you land, you can't help but think of all those poor souls during the World Wars who were so happy to see their home airfield come into view.

  • Wow he got it to a very slow rate of decent! It even said 5!

  • Is it like FSX? It looks so easy with the PMDG...

  • @Peccatamundi2011 Real life and a game are incomparable

  • Retard means put throttle to idle

  • Wow! Nice!

  • Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium?

  • GPWS called you retard 2 times :D:D:D

  • Really :O

  • Thought pilots wore uniforms?

  • @chanctonbury63 I think it is a training exercise, that's why they are dressed casually. :)

  • @OmsoiTekken Maybe they stole it.

  • @chanctonbury63 Yeah, maybe :D

  • How lucky are you... If i had the money i'd love to train to become a Pilot!

  • is it a private plane (business plane)

  • Ilove your uniforms gentlemen. (sarcasm)

  • @RasM3211 ilove your yoke gentlemen. (sarcasm)

  • @sammerftw I love you yoke? you havent even seen it. Nice defense man (sarcasm)

  • @RasM3211 fuck you got me=p

  • @sammerftw LMAO LOOOOOLL

  • @biakdik3 The airbus suits you well, RETARD.

  • nice landing for the first time on A320. what planes was it.

    nice video

  • @biakdik3 The plane was A320 LOL....

  • You're a RETARD RETARD.

  • but 737-800s rocks!

  • Perfeito !!!!!!!

  • Retard the throttle! LOL

  • was it dress down Friday ?

  • Comment removed

  • The three smartest people I have ever known were women. I have a degree in Biochemistry and I am male. Sorry guys, but that is the way it is. This pilot is so competent - you go girl . . .

  • Man, you were too fast for that low altitude! Do you remember how many knots landing were you in 30 to 10? Before I first heard the IPIX land/take off system alarming "retard...retard...retard" I was wondering for that. Anyways, it was not that bad for your first land. Keep it up buddy!

  • nice uniforms lol

  • good landing:D You are a student plot?

  • are the instroments suposed to be flashing on and off

  • @nikolaymikol Merely a trick of the camera, they're working at different frequencies. Nice landing though!

  • @nikolaymikol No, its the camera and the type of display. Modern tvs use LCD so this wont happen

  • Nice landing captain.

  • Nice Autoland!!!

  • @air2jsc it's not autoland, check the AP lights.

  • nice landing

  • Nice work! :-)

  • I'd sacrifice my soul for this job.

Kidding, but I wish you great luck in your career! :)

I'm hoping to become a pilot aswell... in many years from now (I'm still attending school)

  • nice work!

  • Lucky man...

  • i dont see a yolk, joystick?

  • @iputacapinurass He is using a sidestick to the right of his position.

  • @iputacapinurass in some airbus aircraft use a sidestick

  • F*ck'n smooth Landing Gentlemen

  • Flamed by a plane!!! haha! jk

  • Its not necessarily slow down, Retard is when you reduce thrust to idle so that your aircraft will continue so that the aircraft will touchdown. Pilots do this while the flare during landings so that there is less stress on the landing gear and so that you get a smoother landing.

  • retard is the scientific way of saying slow down.

  • I like your uniforms very much :P Nice landing too :)

  • retard. retard.

  • is it saying retard retard

  • @nikolaymikol As in "Retard" the throttles - to bring them to idle (or zero) and flare (pull up) the nose

  • @nikolaymikol hahahahah :D

  • @nikolaymikol yes it is. according to wat i know, the retard mode is used for thrust settings during landing. decreasing and increasing as per the conditions

  • @nikolaymikol retard means throttle back and flare

  • @nikolaymikol Yes. It means Put the Engines on Idle.

  • @nikolaymikol nope. it's saying retarded, retarded!

  • @nikolaymikol really...

  • @nikolaymikol yes retard means throttle back n FLARE

  • Extremly smooth landing!!!!

  • @mikalization

Continue pulling them back past idle, obviously there is a (not sure what it is called) a springy thing that provides tension so you don't accidentally put it in reverse.

  • sad to be called a retard by a plane , but nice landing

  • awesome:)

  • good landing! is this part of a p2f program?

  • Comment removed

  • @gregA320 looks like a good start in your new life.

  • @SirKamiloPL you obviously need to be able to land to finish....

  • nice work =)

  • Nice landing!!

  • There is a bit crosswind, isn't it?

  • SWEET landing man!

  • PERFECT LANDING

  • How come he's not even in uniform??? and he's having the responsibility of landing an A320

  • @DrMongoose12 look, the shirt he's wearing is his uniform, the captain wears the same one

  • @Kelnac1 but who wears jeans, arent u meant to dress smart!

  • @DrMongoose12 sure, but maybe that flight wasn't carriing passengers, and i don't think clothes changes the pilot's skills so we don't care :p

  • @Kelnac1 yeah im just saying.. nuff said!

  • @DrMongoose12 I think it's the base training, 6 takeoff and landing

  • BONER! Great landing, bro. Greased it in.

  • Perfect! Congratulations, I'm dead envious, this is my dream job. Unfortunately I ended up in the public sector instead :(

  • thats a really good landing

  • why do Airbus flight computers have male voices ? It sucks.

  • What happened to the uniforms ! ?

  • Very nice landing, :o

  • good

  • Nice video. Lucky you, yep, I also wish I could do it. Maybe in another life, hopefully...

  • @StevenAFC hahaha¡¡¡ Who knows it...???

  • @gonoje71 Me

  • @KitKatBar131 ;-) sure

  • Congratulations! :)

  • i have heard that being a pilot in the Thomas Cook company gives you a very, very high salary. True?

  • People are so thick, slagging off the pilot while the plane is saying retard, people must be thick to release what it actually means. SAD PEOPLE

  • why is the computer calling him a retard ?

  • @dodoz122

It is to remind the pilot to retard the throttles.

I retard them at 40' most of the times.

  • lol, the guy can't fly at all. in fact, he is so stupid, the plane calls him a retard at 1:21 and just lands by itself.

  • @aseglkj ahahahhaah

  • @aseglkj dick head do you even know why the plane is saying retard ?

  • @miniarma yes, dick lover, I own Wilco Airbus 1 and 2. In fact, cumswapper, I've flown them FSX for a couple hundred hours. What about you, you little hermaphrodite?

  • @aseglkj your hard flying on FSX wow ! Bet your parents are happy for you, go fly a real plane mate, I play FSX and its nothing compared to real world flying so go shove your FSX disk in your ass hole and tell you mum to go sow up her wizards sleeve

  • @aseglkj you have flow on FSX a couple of hundred time, i have flown them in the sky, and i dont go around insulting people!

  • @aseglkj

....How old are you? Because I think someone needs to grow up soon.

  • @RontoTheDog LOL, a fucking furry telling someone to grow up. I think my irony detector just exploded

  • @aseglkj My interests have nothing to do with my maturity. I don't go around on youtube saying stupid little things to insult people, nor do I go completely off topic because I can't hold onto an argument. I say that I think you need to grow up, and you bring up the fact that I have an interest in anthropomorphic animal characters. If you are going to argue or give a comeback, then at least stay on topic.

  • Holy God.... I had never realized that the airlines train you like this.... Where there passengers on that plane or was this strickly a training flight?

  • He would be luckier if he had been flying a Boeing...

  • You are damn right! Have you seen this empty cockpit?

This pilot looks like an handicap.

    God bless Boeing!!!

  • @flynabil FYI, airbus has a better dark cockpit design and a much better layout of the panels. The sidestick takes some getting used to. most either hate it or love it.

  • @olioli917 you have a different taste which is good. I sat many times in the cockpit of an A320 and I can assure you it looks empty. Boeing layout might be conventional but it gives you the impression you are flying an aircraft and not a robot.

  • complimenti!!! l?atterraggio è veramente molto pulito e fluido!

  • Is uniform, mandatory is Thomas cook?

  • nice for a first ! you're so lucky, you realize my dream in that video. i hope do the same soon, i'm only 16. :p

  • Woah , hey is Thomas Cook uniform a shirt and jeans wow :) Awesome video by the way cant wait to be a pilot :D

  • Nice Touchdown!

  • I remember going jumpseat on a A320

  • How often can you say "my first A320 landing"?

  • is this a training flight ??

  • hey buddy, ut was perfect, noce job :D:D

  • i live in brussels and when i was spotting i saw just the first landing

  • Smooth as a Babies behind :o)

  • Very smoothhhhhh.....

  • wow.. very nice landing yes sir.

  • did well

  • Hut ab !

  • I'm 14 and I want to be a pilot when I am older. I dont really know where to start. Can anyone help me? Do I have to go Air cadets?

  • @xXSMEXISNICKERSXx No the way I started was by just going to the airport and looking for a sign that said "learn to fly"... Meet some people at the airport and walk around for a bit. Then you will start working on your private pilots license first. If you don't want to actually go there, you could also just look up flights schools on the internet for your local airport and call them. They will most likely take you on a "discovery flight" and introduce you to the world of flying".

  • Why do the displays blink on and off so much?

  • @shysterlicious ..the panel screen refresh rate and the camera frame rate is not same....(I guess so)

  • @RainingCatsAndDog Interesting theory. Thank you for your response. If you're not sure, I'd still like someone who can supply an answer with a little more certitude. Again, thank you for taking time out to answer my question:0)

  • @shysterlicious I agree with RainingCatsAndDog, it's just the refreshrate.

  • @shysterlicious There is no more 'certitude' necessary. The refresh rate, rated in hertz is higher than the refresh rate the camera is able to capture, and therefore produces the flicker.

As both a private pilot and a computer tech, I have experience in both fields.

  • My job one day, hopefully.

  • Nice!

  • That was a waaaay good landing. Bravo

  • At final approach near to touch town, the radio altimeter will guide the pilot by saying rate of descent ; 100, 50, 40... This is because it is not quick and accurate for a pilot to notice his rate of descent prior to flare by glancing the vertical speed indicator whereby at that crucial moment every second counts. More over the vertical speed indicator depends on the ambient pressure, means it is not accurate - this will be more significant during bad weather (ambient pressure unstable).

  • What is actually i want to say??

--->> For every cockpit landing video that you have watched, whenever you hear the radio altimeter SAY: 5 (FIVE!!!)... i could not agree more: IT WAS A DAMN GOOD LANDING!!!.

  • Now do it in crosswind. Wait Thomas Cook have aeronautical engineer program?

  • VERY nicely done sir!

  • Very nice landing man :)

  • With airbus its takeing the pilot out of the pilot so if those automated systems were to fail the pilot would not have the expierence to fly the airplane because of those automated systems at least boeing and douglas make a MANS PLANE and you dont fly a plane with a joystick that should be use to play pac-man.

  • @tyty737

This is so incorrect, on so many levels...

  • @lockstocknl Im just saying thats my opinion you dont HAVE to go with it

  • @tyty737 Just technological advance.

  • @tyty737

an airbus pilot has to give the same input into the aircraft as a boeing pilot, the only difference is airbus is fly by wire so the input goes to a computer before its executed. instead of a yoke its a sidestick, same function tho, it has throttle levers and rudder pedals like boeing. its the same functions just done differently. boeing also use full auto pilot systems., the pilot puts the same input into boeing and airbus, its just the system thats different thats all.

  • @tyty737

when boeing start developing and producing new aircraft to replace some ageing models they will be fly by wire im sure. its actually safer as the aircraft cant be pushed beyond its parameters. as for boeing being a mans aircraft, they're airliners, produced to ferry people to their destination as safely and efficiently as possible, thats why auto-pilot does all the flying, pilot enjoyment is low on the list. the only difference in flying an airbus is the sidestick instead of a yoke.

  • @tyty737 i agree with u. wat is the point of being a pilot if u dont actually do any flying. i am a pilot for BA & i fly manually as much as i can.

  • Nice landing man!!!

  • I love airbuses!

  • Nice landing!

  • Luckiest person ever id give anything to be able to become a airline pilot

  • @dadojedado yeah me too. Thats my dream..

but with my bad eyes-- not fair -.-^ lol

  • @dadojedado im 14 and this is my ambition :) i have it all planed but id like to know one of the easiest ways to go about it :/

  • @limavadylad Money...and prayers for jobs

  • @spikey851 that and do you have to get your licences step by step PPL CPL ATPL ??? lol least someones actually taking me on lol

  • @limavadylad PPL-IR-Multi engine CPL,,and ATPL Written

  • @dadojedado work hate man. anything is possible if you put your mind into it.

  • @dadojedado ait that hard just alot of dedication and of course finance im only 15 but i want and know that i will someday be sitting in a cockpit flying passengers to exotic destiantions :)

  • @dadojedado

Would you give lots of money, time, patients, and dedication???

  • @dadojedado ...wow 8 months later and 44 thumbs up... imagine all those other videos I commented on that I havent seen, I hate it when that happeneds.

  • @dadojedado Not lucky... Hardworking buddy.

You can be a airine pilot.... Just study ALOT!

Im doing the same, exept i'm in heli's!

  • @dadojedado i'd kill, not even joking, lol

  • i landed in Brussels my first time in life i was on my way to Bosnia and Herzegovina last summer
