The bay guy Jason, stated to beat up Stevie Moss after s he found stolen goods in his car, so he started to beat her up. Smithy arrived and beat Jason unconscious which was witnessed by Stone, but there was no CCTV so it was Jasons word against Smithy in court. Smithy doesnt want Stone to have the advantage over him and it just kicks off after Inspector Weston has a go at Stone for rushing into the training exercise against her order. Hope that helps:)

I have to agree with the others in that it is definitely one of the sexiest scenes in the show. Especially in the beginning when they are rolling over each other!

In all honesty though it's not the best fight scene. It seems as though the Bill is trying to upgrade itself to US standards in direction but they haven't qutie got there yet. They also seriously need to upgrade the make up department. Where was the sweaty battered and bruised look? Where were the make up people?

I don't like the new filming format. It doesn't suit The Bill. It makes it just like every other police program out there. The Bill was highly valued because it was seen as very close to the real thing, and the real streets. This new filming format sucks. The did it to holby city too.

Before, iit was boring and only focused on CID and investigations, I wanted to see more uniform, back on the streets, and getting down to the real grit, its clearly what theyre doing heree and hope they keep it up. I think it very much suits The Bill, its more like the older times of The Bill more action

THe camera angles reminded me of the 1999 episodes I watched. Watching them back on 'Alibi' and comparing it with episodes that were aired 6 month ago, it didnt look like it had updated or progressed. Now theyve definately moved into the 21st centry with editing and filming. I also believe the camera angles are to add more suspense, which it was previously lacking. I dont understand 'wana-be cop drama" it IS a cop drama.
