I'm deeply grateful for the inspiration and the valuable advices I have received "After Eleven". I'm now a fully functioning, happy and productive individual, embarked on a journey of self rediscovery..Rediscovering myself reminds me of who I really am---powerful, connected, and grateful.,allowing me to reclaim my sacred identity...I look forward to continuous happiness and endless discovery .The journey of ascension never ends.
Spectacular film,. I love movies when someone just drops everything and goes to LIVE life. Everyone should have an Elizabeth Gilbert experiance and go for it. Nobody should have a life on autopilet. I love this song to. Eddie Vedder is so soulful. It makes me want to jump on a planer and go whereever my soul takes me, laughing all the way.
If there's one perfectly amazing thing about Eddie Vedder is the fact that he always captures the moment, the feeling and the emotions in his lyrics. It didn't surprised me to hear him again in another interesting soundtrack. Eddie Vedder is my favorite songwriter by far. I just love him.
Watched this again last night. Such a true meaning to this film. A spiritual life that only very few can achieve. Such a beautiful film. Funny how I recognized parts of Bali. Monkey Forest was featured in some scene's. So privileged and blessed to have been there. :-)
Yesterday I saw again this film and loved it once again. That is how one should live on this planet: open to new experiences and ignoring the fears that may arise.
I cannot wait to see this film! Reminds me of an anime! XD But its not.....>>....Doesn't matter! It's still gonna rock, just wait and see! XD I will watch it on sitemoovis.co.cc when I come back from job.
it's inexplicable the way in which things come into your life at just the right time ... you see , hear & feel just what you need to... kind of like a part of life you haven't lived yet .. & at that moment you are given the answers to some of your sub-conscience questions
I love this movie and song. I want to watch this movie again. I would love to be able to travel the world, but no one will go with me. So I guess I will have to save my money and go alone like the author did.

I loved this video. I loved the book. I loved the movie. All of it touched me deeply. Some people thought the book was dumb. They just didn't need it, that's all. Books are alive. Certain ones come to us just when we need them. It came to me that way.
This has to be the most beautiful movie I've ever seen at sitemoovie.co.cc. The story, music, the visuals are all breathtaking. I'm not even a religious person and romantic films rarely touch me, and still this piece of art blew me away.
Why do people hate on this movie? I thought it was beautiful and I'm really upset it was such a flop. I have seen it on sitemoovie.co.cc few days ago... True love never dies, but lives in eternity...The best movie to interpret that phrase...

@adrock2007 have u seen this film? or are you assuming it's shitty because a woman happens to be the protaganist in a movie that's about self discovery instead of finding a man all the fucking time?
My aunt just passed, really mom, more than an aunt, and through her life and death,I am now on a mission, and she will be there with me every step I am going to take in her honor, she lived her life, worked, traveled, and loved, time for me to rem. and do it also
totally agree with you .... ive come close to that point in my life .... there are so many beautiful things around us, pity we dont see them sometimes
I believe the real message was way more profound than something, somebody with this lack of interest on discovering it could ever understand; Therefore it is not worth the frustration of explaining it. Just by holding arguments like the ones shown below, proves my point. Btw, this one comes from a high school graduate, with some college, who's first language isn't English. ( I see you people need to drop this info in order to give relevance to your statement) ...
if you'ld read my original comment you'd see my piont was that nobody stops to think about whats really happening in this movie. if you take away the empathy the writer brings to the protagonist (in this case herself) basically its the story of a woman coming to grips with being a pseudo deep self centered bitch. this film is just another example of art reflecting culture, stating that selfishness is no longer bad nor is responsibility
@michaelofGB45 Not really, people shouldn't look to a movie or its contents for answers on what to do with
Their lives, why complain about the message of the movie if you are not following it?Of course it influences many people, Stupid, foolish people, who make decisions based on the damn movie. I can be selfish, responsible, altruist and keep my promises all at the same time, because human beings aren't defined on what they are , but on WHO they are, and I CHOOSE what I WANT TO BE. That Is all.
My wife has just gone to Africa to experience something for herself.....I saw Eddie perform this the other day....Now I think I love Eddie more than my wife!
You wake up everyday with a choice to do what you really need to. Unfortunately we let "normal"life stop us from following our dreams. Believe me, Its real. My wife has just gone to Africa for a month to be able to make her own decisions on a daily basis. Will she come back? I hope so! The human spirit is being beaten down by what we are supposed to do to be considered "normal"
@southerncrosscowboy That is so true. Society tells--or at least trys---to tell us the steps we are to take in our lives. College, marriage, kids, grow old together, work at the same unsatisfying job for 30 years....but some of us aren't built that way. I stopped at the college and marriage part. Divorced and wondering what to do now, Liz Gilbert acted on what I always wanted to---live your life for you. Eddie Vedder's song really drives that home.
@harobmxracing - i completely agree with you. this was a beautiful movie that i really enjoyed, but Into the Wild is amazing. Hands down, my favorite. Eddie Vedder does an excellent job with both soundtracks.
@harobmxracing - i completely agree with you. this was a beautiful movie that i really enjoyed, but Into the Wild is amazing. Hands down, my favorite. Eddie Vedder does an excellent job with both soundtracks.
this movie convinced me that if i dont go to university to study biology is not the end of the world. Ill become a tourist guide and travel all around the world!
@michaelofGB45 You are the sad one. You pretend to be well-read and educated, but my guess is you are a Republican man, living in the Bible Belt, raised to believe that women should be barefoot and pregnant. I feel sorry for your wife---that is if any women will come near you after you open your mouth. Read the book---or any book for that matter.
@1998Boomer ssssoo i assume you gathered that just cause i didn't buy into this bitch's journey to enlightenment in india i must be a hard core conservative from arkansas smacking my wife with one hand while i jack off glen becks dick with the other? sweetheart you're intuition sucks.. and where did i claim to be "well read"? ...i'm a high school drop out from akron ohio who just got done smoking crack out of a car antenna. clearly i'm more of a castro guy than a chomsky guy. peace bitch!
@1998Boo "YouTube isn't something meant for uneducated opinions" -you.
well then what the hell are you doing on here? i'm not even sure you're senseless banter is suitable facebook or twitter.. why don't you open a myspace account, that seems like it'd be more your speed. and the fact that you hint you hold some sort of degree is truely sad, clearly the education system has failed you since you can't even hold your own on youtube with a high school drop out. get off youtube and go back to school
@allinedearmitt30 One of the best things you could do. Heard of Redbox? $1.00 rentals and they have it. Reserve it online to be sure it's there for you. Enjoy the journey.
I just got through watching this heart moving movie. This last song is the only one that got to me. I love it.
If you haven't seen Eat Pray Love, put it on your list. It's not only good, it teaches you something about yourself. Where you are, where you want to go, and what you want to be. That is if you are willing to open your mind and heart.
this movie is inspiring me to do things for my self. i wanna travel the world. search the real me to find my own happiness and my peace in God and in this world :)
Watched this film last night and what a great movie!
Cant wait to buy the soundtrack for this one, sure to be a winner.
Found it quite interesting that the message at the end of this film is very close to that of 'Into The Wild', i think the journeys have similarities, and to have the great Eddie Vedder and Neil Young singing songs through this movie, setting the emotions in motion is quite a treat, and adds to the spendour of the movie! Terrific stuff!!!
thought i'd write you back just as an excuse to hear this song again. which by the way is the reason for all the ire in my first comment, see i was a big pearljam fan and this is the best song i've heard by vedder since the jp days and to hear it used to to promote this "movie", and "julia roberts" which both represent a selfish egotistical sense of false entitlement, basically everything wrong with our culture, yeah i got pissed, miss roberts face was not what i wanted to see during this song.
@michaelofGB45 Sad, very sad. If you'd watch the movie and what it really means without caring who the characters are played by, you might learn something. Your foul mouth might get clean too.
although the movie was done well, if you examine the bare facts of the story, then you have to emit the protagonist is still just a pseudo deep self centered bitch. and from what i hear about julia roberts, playing this role was NOT a stretch at all, and its just another testimony to her narcissism to be pushing 50 and playing a 32yo. but you know what WAS a stretch in this movie? julia's skin around that awkward skull of hers.. like someone put a condom over the head of a duck billed platypus.
@michaelofGB45 Man you have to be gay... Only a gay man can be aware of all these details... im not saying with this that this movie is good on my point of view, im in here just to listen to this song, and is amazing the kind comments that a person can write. you are ovbiously a frustrated and sick person man... go see a shrink!
@zzpank33r oh come on lighten up man, that shit i said was funny. what do you got a fucking crush on julia roberts or something? my cousin was one of her personal assistances back in the day and she's a total cunt.
also if being insightful about a movie, and sharing your thoughts on a youtube comment board qualify you as gay, then yes, i guess i'm a flaming homosexual. however i don't think that makes me a frustrated sick person, i just think i'm aware of how art and culture reflect each other.
@michaelofGB45 As I said, i just listen to the music, i dont really care if shes a cunt or whatever, not ONE of my favs... just read at your own comment and see how much hate and a bunch of bad things are you writing about someone that doesnt even know u... I come here to listen to this fine song and you comment just got me mad... Sorry for writing anything that might have offended you, but if I write bad stuff, answers are not going to be good at all. Peace...
you'll be the one that i can need, and still be free.......my god...who's whispering these words to him...this music...it's been food to my soul since i've first heard PEARL JAM...love them...

I have glimpses of the freedom expressed in this song and film but cannot seem to climb the egoic walls. does anyone else ever feel this way.

into the wild and eat pray love has great values and if it's only possible if you can pursue it and get off your ass and try
DollarstoreSticker 11 months ago 2
is this actually possible, does it happen to "normal" people
jonnyrock2001 11 months ago
@jonnyrock2001
You wake up everyday with a choice to do what you really need to. Unfortunately we let "normal"life stop us from following our dreams. Believe me, Its real. My wife has just gone to Africa for a month to be able to make her own decisions on a daily basis. Will she come back? I hope so! The human spirit is being beaten down by what we are supposed to do to be considered "normal"
southerncrosscowboy 11 months ago 2
@southerncrosscowboy That is so true. Society tells--or at least trys---to tell us the steps we are to take in our lives. College, marriage, kids, grow old together, work at the same unsatisfying job for 30 years....but some of us aren't built that way. I stopped at the college and marriage part. Divorced and wondering what to do now, Liz Gilbert acted on what I always wanted to---live your life for you. Eddie Vedder's song really drives that home.

I rented and watched this movie 3 times! So moving as to a real in depth look at your life and what you've done with it and what you want to do.
I ordered the movie for my library and the book to read. The books are usually much better than the movie. At least I think so.
ladybug1951 11 months ago
@ladybug1951
if you already like this movie, you should really check out "Into the Wild"
Eddie Vedder also made the music for this movie, but I prefered into the wild before eat pray love.;)

@harobmxracing - i completely agree with you. this was a beautiful movie that i really enjoyed, but Into the Wild is amazing. Hands down, my favorite. Eddie Vedder does an excellent job with both soundtracks.

@michaelofGB45 YouTube isn't something meant for uneducated opinions like yours. Try Facebook or Twitter or maybe just go back to school. XOXO

Terrific stuff!!!

thought i'd write you back just as an excuse to hear this song again. which by the way is the reason for all the ire in my first comment, see i was a big pearljam fan and this is the best song i've heard by vedder since the jp days and to hear it used to to promote this "movie", and "julia roberts" which both represent a selfish egotistical sense of false entitlement, basically everything wrong with our culture, yeah i got pissed, miss roberts face was not what i wanted to see during this song.
michaelofGB45 1 year ago

Only a gay man can be aware of all these details... im not saying with this that this movie is good on my point of view, im in here just to listen to this song, and is amazing the kind comments that a person can write. you are ovbiously a frustrated and sick person man... go see a shrink!
zzpank33r 1 year ago
@zzpank33r oh come on lighten up man, that shit i said was funny. what do you got a fucking crush on julia roberts or something? my cousin was one of her personal assistances back in the day and she's a total cunt.
also if being insightful about a movie, and sharing your thoughts on a youtube comment board qualify you as gay, then yes, i guess i'm a flaming homosexual. however i don't think that makes me a frustrated sick person, i just think i'm aware of how art and culture reflect each other.
michaelofGB45 1 year ago
@michaelofGB45 As I said, i just listen to the music, i dont really care if shes a cunt or whatever, not ONE of my favs... just read at your own comment and see how much hate and a bunch of bad things are you writing about someone that doesnt even know u... I come here to listen to this fine song and you comment just got me mad... Sorry for writing anything that might have offended you, but if I write bad stuff, answers are not going to be good at all. Peace...
