Gegar is a natural product of bugs combining while Gospel formed from bugs being slapped together.

It's basically what Gospel would have become if it lived long enough.

OH, ok, never knew, especially because I never played MMBN2, 4, or 6. So my only real knowledge came from the anime and manga. Still though, I doubt that they ever explicitly say any of that.
