To those criticising Prince Charles and Camilla for not giving her a standing ovation, the attending Royals are not allowed to give standing ovations because if they stand for one act and not another they are "publicly showing they like one act and not another", so to respect all acts and not have to get up and down for every one, they are asked to remain seated but applaud every act to avoid accusations of favouritism.
