I agree with you, PETA is comprised of crazy and lunatic people; however, do those poor dogs get a second chance as they were torn to shreds and electrocuted? No, I didn't think so. I think people are misinterpreting Vick's desperation for sorrow. And, unfortunately, people are still killing dogs through illegal fighting rings, but I believe that the law is currently doing something about it. For me, its about setting real standards in the NFL, which it has failed to implement in the past years.

If Roger Goodell does not set any standard in the NFL, how do you honestly expect the athletes to take the organization seriously. People say it is unfair to suspend Vick, Indefinitely because other athletes in the past have committed worse and more despicable crimes such as manslaughter. (Leonard Little) If you don't set an example, then players are going to always assume they will play football again regardless of any misconduct or irresponsible behavior. The NFL is becoming the Longest yard.

It really disturbs me how people are sympathizing with Michael Vick saying how he served his punishment; he had to file for bankruptcy, he served jail time, he lost his endorsements, he had to work construction. The poor thing. Listen, playing in the NFL is not a right it is a privilege that many people do not have in this country and wish they had that special opportunity. On a further note, people act like this is Michael Vick's first offense, its not. He is far from a clean slate.

I grew up in Norfolk Va which is a town ovr from where he grew up, we were rival football teams. I was excited to see him make it and be as big as he was.

I always try to support people from the area and I want the best for him and his brother.

Honestly it's going to be a hard road but I hope he comes back and wins. That will be the best thing. Someone will pick him up and he can still play, people will root for him and he can make a great success story.

The difference between Stallworth and Michael Vick.

Stallworth made a STUPID MISTAKE. However, he man'd up for his mistakes, and you can tell he totally felt remorseful for what he did.

What Michael Vick did wasn't a mistake. He knew full well what he was doing. He didn't show any remorse for what he did to those poor animals. He was only remorseful that he got caught.

Everyone says, he should be given a second. Well, second aren't given. They have to be earned!
