They still fucking rock, let's see how you feel about life and your music after you nearly die when your van flips over a dozen times. You can only stay hardcore for so long until you have the urge for something fresh, and to challenge your musical abilities, and these guys are far beyond talented. The true posers are the ones who call others sell outs after a band had been loyal for nearly twenty years to the scene. They deserve every bit of attention and every right to branch out, I support
I have established an unbreakable long term relationship with their music 92-02. I was a huge advocate of them throughout the nineties and up to the release of the album, "What doesn't kill you".
From what I've pieced together, the trauma caused by their van accident has inspired revelations of the religious sort within key elements.
They've since taken on far too many pop and mainstream qualities. And by mainstream, I mean they could play the 700 club.

this is the best candiria song ever. probably one of the best songs ever written. the break down is fuckin tits man! "TAKE THIS STONE.....PILE OF BRICK....MY BACKBONE UNBREAKABLE!!!!!!!!!!"
the last album i heard was "whta doesnt kill you...." and i almost threw up when i heard it and i ahvent listened to anything from that cd on. i consider candiria dead so RIP Candiria and Irate (who actually broke up). Phil Vibez was the man, Irate played in a lil hole in the wall club in Albany when he had broken legs in a horriblesnow storm. he had to literally crawl on stage, much love to all the bands that kept it real
DOOD. Sickest f'ing video ever. I can't believe they had Jamie and the other guy. I always fantasized that Jamie would come out of nowhere when I would see Candiria, but instead it was always some loser from the crowd (or Carley).
What the fuck?!?!?! Where is Candiria?!?!?! I weep!
I miss these fuckin shows. moved to florida from NY. used to see them a lot at the chance in Poughkeepsie. Out to win has got it right. Remember the good times of NJ bloodline, one king down, etown, candiria, hatebreed, RAISE YOUR FIST!!!!
I meant with the "you're kidding" is that the viewer who said stuck mojo was better than candiria was kidding....Don't forget Integrity when talking about the glory days
you are right that that label is a circle jerk. tight knit collective of musicians same mindset.
i liked the blood brothers after burn piano island burn though i lost track of them. i still fire up their vinyls when i can. im one of those i liked them when their recordings were raw and not produced up-to-standards. im a fiend for demo tapes and live recordings.
p.s. i miss this candiria... until i fire up the cds and ignore everything they do in recent years.
I saw 8 shows in LA, I've yet to find another band who delivers as much energy live. Any recommendations on other bands? Any new kids coming out with force? I remember Isis being powerful.
shit, I think you forget to mention that both guest vocalists on this track, Jamey Jasta and the Irate cat are both featured in this live performance.

hydrahead is a circle-jerk, unable to expand. though new isis material live is absolutely incredible.
jamey is a punk. i took his thumb.
don't know if you'd dig the blood brothers, but they are some young men on some high octane shit. not heavy music - something else.
