SPORT CUB on Floats - Spin Testing

Get the nose up with something in the back and give it a go.

Cubs with something in the back have spun and killed lots of pilots.

I think the 18A I used to fly had more welds than tube.

so it will spin but only in a clean configuration?  I couldn't tell if they had flaps out or not.

wow i think to make it spin like most you would have to chop half the wing off and then try it the cub is overbuilt and looks after the pilot incase he screws up and the cubs a old but very stable design if they came in trike gear config id buy one

Hey there...I believe it was called the Piper tri-pacer I believe. Similar to the cub but with tri gear and side by side seating, not tandem

Tame spin-characteristic. The Cub never disappoints.
