I would say so. They can hit 20 mph out of the box. The acceleration is good and steering is very good. Plus it's only $100 so you can't really go wrong with it. It takes 3 hours to charge with the charger it comes with, but you can buy a speed charger for like $30 that will charge it in around 45 minutes. It is all electric, and has a run time of about half an hour. It is a good beginner car in my opinion, but this is the only car I've ever had so I might just be biased. I love it though.
