@02mrhifh If you go to Deuteronomy chapter 17, it tells us what "Brethern" or "Brothers" means. It tells us very clearly that "brethern" is an Israelite. All Israelites are "Bretheren". Chapter 17 gives us 2 terms, "Bretheren" and "foreigner". Since they are different terms, that means a brethern can't be a foreigner, which means that "from among their bothers" means an Israeli.
Thus, Deuteronomy 18 is NOT talking about mohammad since he is not an Israelite.

Quran mentions thats it has to types of verses in it. some verses are explicit i.e. they dont require an interpretation. Other verses and impicit, thats they require an interpretation. To understand these verses (implicit verses), one has to look at the other explicit verses on that subject. That is one part of the Quran explains the other.

@02mrhifh If you go to Deuteronomy chapter 17, it tells us what "Brethern" or "Brothers" means. It tells us very clearly that "brethern" is an Israelite. All Israelites are "Bretheren". Chapter 17 gives us 2 terms, "Bretheren" and "foreigner". Since they are different terms, that means a brethern can't be a foreigner, which means that "from among their bothers" means an Israeli.
Thus, Deuteronomy 18 is NOT talking about mohammad since he is not an Israelite.

However, even if it were true, it wouldn't matter since according to Deuteronomy, *ANYONE* who is not an Israelite is a foreigner. The Bible makes that very clear.

If we look in the bible with cross reference, you will find in marginal notes where the words "the Prophet" occur in John 1:21, these refer to the prophecy of Deuteronomy 18:15 and 18:18. 1 from here we conclude that Jesus Christ is not the prophet mentioned in Deuterononmy 18:18.

From the verses we conclude that this coming prophet from the prophecy must have the following characteristics:
1) That he will be like Moses (pbuh)
2) He will com from the brothers of Israelites, ie) Ishmaelites
3) God will put his own words into the mouth of this prophet and that he will declare only what God commands him

The first complete versions of the gospel are from the 4th century and a few of the earliest pieces--literally scraps with a few words on them--were found (by christian scholars) to be written almost 100 years after Jesus died (the scholarly community estimates about 70-100 years). I have never heard of this 20-30 year estimate before. Also, I read that these gospels were originally written anonymously and later were attributed to the various disciples or students of the disciples.

Nobody ever disagrees on what were the contents. Bible doesnt have that history. The bible has been the property of the church not the people. What contradictions are there? They all agree Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead. That is the essential message of the Bible that all true believers must accept to be saved from condemnation; don't stumble at the details. Quran mentions thats it has to types of verses in it. some verses are explicit i.e. they dont require an interpretation. Other verses and impicit, thats they require an interpretation. But nobody ever disputes as to it must be this or it must be that and they have a problem or battle over it. Any bible thats worth buying is filled with foot notes. One might ask, why is that the case, why are not all verses explicit, thats because quran speaks about itself. so some verses has to be placed on top of others, the word quran appears about 70 times in the quran itself.
In addition Quran conatins about 78,000 word. However 200 words make about 40,000 words (thats more than 50%) of the quran.
There issues can be highlighted on this subject, but i guess it should be enough for now.

In summary - Quran forbids hadith as source of law, is fully detailed, compiled by Muhammad under instruction from God. John the disciple composed his Gospel while there were still eyewitnesses to confirm their accuracy.
John says "This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know his testimony is true" John 21:24
The gnostic writers composed the gospel named 'Peter' much later and were unprepared to die for it. Their message contradicted the eyewitness accounts and also much of Mohammads' teaching (though Mohammad probably used bits of this teaching in his Quran).

Sounds like circular reasoning to me. We have no primary sources for the Quran, and no complete Quran until nearly 200 years after the death of Mohammed exists...how do we know your statement to be true? The Quran likens fertilized human eggs in the uterus (zygotes) to "clots" or "leeches," a categorization that is patently false, yet you say that this book is perfect...
Are we to just blindly trust what you, some guy on YouTube, says about the Quran, without ANY evidence or corroboration?

On the cross, Jesus said to his mother "Dear woman, here is your son" and to the disciple whom he loved "Here is your mother". John 19:26
We are told this disciple was John and that he accompanied Peter to the tomb on Easter morning (John 20:2)
Hazzek may think that 2000 years later he knows better than John the disciple-and that the writer of the apocryphal gospel 'Peter' written 200 years later, knew better than the eye witnesses.
For myself, I choose the eyewitnesses any time.

well, historians in the 3rd quest have concluded that John the disciple did not author gospel of john. john was the last gospel written. also, in the 2nd sitz im leben, from 33-65 CE, the gospel was oral (only person writing was paul). gossip produces lots of fabrications, hence the inconsitencies in the gospel (please dont deny them, they are clear). what makes u think john was right and not 'peter'? chek wikipedia if u dont believe me. also, there are omissions in almost all gospels.

no. john did not witness the so-called crucifiction. some say peter did. but if u read the apocalypse of peter, u see that infact jesus did not get crucified, but someone else who looked like him did. also, if the NT writers could corroborate, then y do they hav different geneologies of jesus, different "post-resurrection" accounts, different order of events e.g temptations? please explain these contradictions

matheew, mark and luke were not jesus' disciples. although the early church fathers say that the author of john was infact the disciple, recent biblical scholarship has disputed this
