  • I used to have the top rated comment on this vid, I posted something about I wish they could get back together, must be something wrong with YouTube. I seen another comment that had 27 "thumbs up" when I looked for mine from about 2 years ago. Nevertheless, from the top of my lungs, I THINK I LOVE YOU!!

  • How's that women in professional hockey thing doing?

  • Good ol days

  • Wow, that was the right video at the right time. That took me back to 8 years old sitting on my moms family room rug trying to keep my sisters off my Hot Wheels and watching the Partridge Family. I would sell my soul to go back instead of lugging around the weight of world on my shoulders. By the way, I loved the Partridge Family, but I hated when they sang songs, guess it was the boy in me. Don't wish you life away kids, it's leaving you as we speak.

  • Here in Brazil, the series was titled "Familia Do-Re-Mi" (Do Re Mi Family). Good memories! Thanks for posting it!

  • @capitolemiproducer Really? Shirley didn't sing back ups?? I thought she did was a musical actress you know! lol

  • This kind of music reminds some of us of that innocent times. In our lives when teen idols and there bubble gum songs swept us off our feet and made us happy.

  • Is there anyone out there who can relate to those awkward, preteen, tingly, bitter sweet feelings I get when I hear this? This takes me back to Bus 77, 8th grade, day before Christmas break in Dec. '72. I had been watching Jill for past three months, but just couldn't get up the guts to speak to her til that afternoon. The bus was crowded and Jill had no choice but to sit in the seat next to me. A few glances between us turned into phone numbers exchanged by the end of the ride.

  • @jeff62rey FUCKIN PERVERT

  • @jeff62rey I heard this a lot when I was in Junior High. We watched it every Friday night I believe it was.

  • Wow, am I the only one watching a shit quality video or what? I'm watching everything else just fine, but this thing is a POS! Hope its just having issues, if not why is it still up?

  • pretty goo for something that was NEVER REAL!

  • They never stopped.

  • Funny how songs from long ago can hit home AGAIN!

I use to watch every one of their shows.... Great memories

  • I always felt sorry for The Cowsills. The Partridge Family were based on them, but they didn't get the credit.

  • If you like the Partridge Family, you might like my bubblegum music podcast, Echo Valley. Check it out. It's free and fun and for my fiends and friends of groovy pop music from the late 60s and early 70s. We play the Partridge Family almost every week! Find it on iTunes or Google "echo valley podcast". • I got to see David Cassidy when I was 13. I was a big fan of the show. Love his singing BUT I couldn't hear him at the concert. The place was packed with screaming girls.

I was not one of them. I wanted to hear him sing.

  • Hilarious. My very 1st Album was The Partridge Family. My 2nd was The Osmonds - One Bad Apple. I actually remember this episode. Then again I was only 12 years old in 1970 when the show 1st aired. At the time there was only about a dozen TV channels even if you had cable. Not much on TV. At least not where I grew up in Austin Tx. Anyway, that was then, this is now.

  • @browsemusicvideos lots of great shows!!!! Bewitched, I dream of Jeannie, That Girl, etc.. I was 10 in 1970 and loved TV,, Green Acres, Gomer Pyle, Andy Taylor....and the Partridge Family.

  • @1969pontiac1 Those are some of favorite TV shows!

  • I MISS YOU NUNNIES

  • I always thought the Partridge Family music was kinda corny. It kinda grows on you as the years go by.

  • Shots of David in New York

  • PARTRIDGE IS A BIRD IN A PEAR TREE! "EYE"5

  • That's unusual seeing David and Danny without their usual Ovation guitar and bass.

  • I once told a girl in college "I think I love you" and we just celebrated our 33rd year together. LOVE IS GOOD!

  • @hotstuffandicecream If only it was as easy for me xD

  • @hotstuffandicecream

    who wrote this song

  • @paperboy6996 I am not 100% sure but I think it was a song writer from the early 70's named Tony Romeo.

  • @paperboy6996 tony romeo

  • @hotstuffandicecream This is great.

  • @hotstuffandicecream OH ISNT THAT JUST SPECIAL

  • Song could have been a lot better without all that starting and stopping, killed the momentum. Video could have been better without all that junk in the front.

  • Needless to say Shirley Jones looks a lot better now than when I was a kid watching the show.

  • Great Vid, and if you can't appreciate GOOD music, you REALLY need to keep your comments to yourself!! This is an ALL TIME FAVORITE of ANYONE who was born in the 50s!!!!

  • wasn't the song the serial killer would leave in the tape deck after a kill just curious

  • GO C DECEVIO AND NEW WEST ORDER ON YOUTUBE 2012 2013

  • I just turned 51 years old,and Shirley Jones looks Hot!! OMG what happened to me?????????

  • @blackforest270 --- Hey, I thought Shirley Jones looked hot in 1971 when I was 8, and she definitely looks hot to me in this video now 40 years later. I know --- shut up and drink my MILF. (LOL)

  • Could you imagine a situation comedy based on the exploits of a modern -day rap group?

  • Assert your manhood Keith!....those were the good ol' days.

  • KJKJKJ !!!

  • Ahhh, good times, good tunes, good life...miss the 70's.

  • Austin Powers would have been in his element here, Yeaahh BABY !

  • i love david cassidy to this day ....

  • Is that the Tea Party with the signs?

  • At least Cassidy can sing...

  • I remember this episode clearly. That girlfriend of his was incredibly rude.

  • I thought Shirley Jones was hot back in the day

  • Yes... Lots of memories. I remember this episode and also love the song.... and, of course, I used to have a huge crush on him as a child also.

  • This brings back so many memories, and I was only a toddler when this first aired. Still....

  • Bought the DVD series. Love these guys. and like I was taught...if you can't say something nice, say nothing. Some of you people are rude, and that's your right, but don't try to bring the rest of us down to your level. The rest of us like to remember good things.

    Blessed Be.

  • BONADUCE FUCKS..

  • @lectrick Back in the 1970s there was a movement going on called "Women's Libaration" The movement was about Women not having equel rights. People who were really into the movement were labeled as "Feminists". It was a big deal at the time. Nowadays, why women still do not get total equel rights its no longer a big deal. This episode of the show has to deal with Women's Liberation.

  • @gertie1999 I think you're cool! It's so refreshing to know that the younger generation isn't all perverted and raunchy and ruined by today's music/TV, etc. I wish the Powers That Be would recognize that we want some MUSIC again! Not this crap they play today.

  • is it bad to say im 17 and i actually really like this stuff :/ aha

  • I'm 17 and I grew up with the Oldies if that makes sense haha, I love music and I love how everyone used to sing about love and everyday things back then, instead of what we hear now on the radio. I abosolutely love the Oldies.

  • One of the greatest pop songs ever

  • I love David..STILL!!

  • @debprobst Don't you hate how they treated David on the Celebrity Apprentice? No respect at all. And he was much more famous (and wealthy) than that idiot that Trump saved. I thought, "Trump is running for president?" No way would I vote for him. No taste. He dumped DC.

  • @ireneobien1954 TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!

  • I love Mom's outfit! I've lived long enough to have worn some of those clothes and see them coming back into current trends. A David Cassidy was simply DREAMY lol

  • 82 people have no sense of nostalgia

  • @timmyc38 f nostalgia....i am glad we now have all the white trash reality shows....so we can see white trash for what they really are.....
