Economics works. Demand drops, so do prices. Now the oil companies are hurting b/c oil is down to 33 dollars per barrel. If people would just chill out and not panic, and use their brains to find solutions (like carpooling, public transit or a bicycle) then they'd be fine.

No I'm not & actually you should think about it. By the end of summer diesel was over $5.00gal & if you have a truck needing to fill 150 gal for shipping that's a lot of money. Where do you think they would cover their overhead? That being said if you have 3-tier system. You have supply company ship to vendor, vendor ship to seller & seller sells/ships to customer. The gas is charge over 3 times. I use to work in a large corporate(was laid-off)& saw this in the books. Looking outside the box!
