LMFAO THIS IS HYSTERICAL! This is even funnier than the original video, I always watch that when I want a good laugh, but this is even better! Ian McCulloch, SMH at you for saying what you said in "Dear Mr. Hicks", and believe me, I'm a huge fan of you and the Bunnymen.
If football really means so much to some people that they seriously consider bad management of their favourite club to be likened to rape, then my first suggestion is that they seriously need psychiatric help. That cannot be mentally healthy for them. If someone really thinks the original analogy - tasteless and crass and so very off the target, being demeaning to both 'Pool fans and more so to actual rape victims - is spot on, then I'm really losing hope in humanity....
@Hawkmanuno Our football club is more important to us than anything else, that's how fanatics of all clubs think. So you can imagine how terrible a member of your family being raped, attacked or killed would be... that's how we felt with these Yank cunts trying to destroy our club, so the analogy was too right! Football is a religion, not a game, not a sport. It's more important than anything. If you don't think like that, fair enough. But don't fuckin dare try to rubbish those that do.
@KopiteP250505 so would you honestly upset you as much if liverpool were relegated as it would if a member of your family was raped? thats pretty awful man, i'm a big football fan but to care that much about a team is just sick
@dkori Liverpool getting relegated wasn't the worst that could have happened if those two Yank cunts stayed in charge - Liverpool FC could have been destroyed and ceased to exist! That's worse than anything that could happen in life, Liverpool FC is my family.
@KopiteP250505 the video was made before the first court date, before there was any risk of the club ceasing to exist. mccollough was just talking about H&G's failure to deliver on promises. and at any rate, what you said is ridiculous. i hope nothing bad happens to your family, but if your mother was raped you would maybe reassess your priorities.
@dkori We Liverpool fans aren't stupid, we knew down the road there was a risk. We saw it a million miles away. The club could have ceased to exist and we knew very early on. So it doesn't matter that the video was before the first court date.
"Some say Football is a matter of life and death. I can assure you, it's much, much more important than that." Bill Shankly. Just because you say something is ridiculous, doesn't make it so; it's just your fuckin dodgy opinion.
Don't put Evertonian scousers in the same bracket as that shower. How often do you hear us whingin? And any how, most of them are from Norway, London and Essex. Dipshit.
@bluenosepe Norway, London and Essex? Let's look at the facts, Liverpool does have a lot of support worldwide. However, Everton has an official supporters club in Norway as well so bluenoses need to shut up about Norway now. I know 4 fella's from London who are Everton season ticket holders as well so don't talk about London either. THE ANALOGY WAS SPOT ON!
Plassy? Analogy spot on? Well done for confirming what the rest of the footballing world already thought about Liverpool fans. Officially the biggest dipshits on the football planet. Even more so than spurs fans. Don't understand what football means to some people? I know it means somehting that's nothing to do with being raped. The more Liverpool fans talk, the more the rest of us laugh. You used to be an authority in a football conversation, now you're the jokes.
Sister bukaked by dogs! This clip is gold. I'm not a red hating blue. But what Mcculloch said was a fuckin disgrace. couldn't agree more bdhfhf. I have lived in Liverpool for 18 years. The dear Mr Hicks video was exactly as you say. It reinforces stereotypes and is offensive and unhelpful. I sympathise totally but please make a literate case. A rape analogy! Totally horrific. I say this as a huge bunnymen fan, Ian McCulloch hang your head in shame.
@larketteoflarklane The analogy by Ian was spot on. Our club is a religion to the true, hardcore fanatics like me. And when two knob head outsiders come in and try to ruin it, that's how it feels - like everything you own and love is being destroyed. How fuckin dare you try and make light of the situation at Liverpool FC over the last few years?!
couldn't agree more bdhfhf. I have lived in Liverpool for 18 years. The dear Mr Hicks video was exactly as you say. It reinforces stereotypes and is offensive and unhelpful. You clearly don't have a fuckin clue about what Football means and how important Liverpool FC is to the true fans. Ian McCulloch (Scouse legend) was spot on with his analogy. How dare you fuckin make light of Liverpool FC's plight over the last few years? If I see you around, I'm going to stamp all over your fuckin head you wool!
@mtaylor848 Why would I expect anything other than ruthlessness? Not really sure what that means to be honest mate, are you saying that anyone who buys a football club nowadays should be expected to leverage it to the highest possible level before allowing the club to systematically raped of almost everything it stands for? Surely any business man would recognise Liverpool for the smart investment it is and recognise that success on the pitch would generate success off it?
brilliant video.i remember watching that piece of shite viral video with the actor from peep show nodding his head along as some other bloke compared whats happening to liverpool to raping a family. what a warped view of things. whingy scouse tossers!
hahah excellent. i cringed at a lot of points in the original video (namely ricky tomlinson, pete price, and of course, the ever ridiculous ian mcullough) despite being a red...this video is great though, no doubt, well done man.
Good video mate. Shame that so many people missed the salient points and references to the original.
The 'Dear Mr Hicks' video was one of the most tasteless and sanctimonious pieces of drivel I've ever endured. This video puts it back in perspective, and in its place.
And a bit of Craig Armstrong always appreciated too. Good work mate.
This is class, as a Leeds fan who had a bad chairman who sent us down to the 3rd teir of english football, i really coudnt give a sh*t what happened to them whats the differance between a cow and a tradigy = a liverpool fan couldnt milk a cow for 21 years
A magnificent piece of work that simply aims to point out why Liverpool football club's supporters are viewed as the most ridiculous bunch of simpletons in football. They take themselves and their club far too seriously. They suffer from delusion and an institutional need to constantly prove to others that they are "special". Get over yourselves lads.
All "reds" coming on here to complain are only serving to boost the video's viewing figures. Great stuff!
So, you've taken one, ill-judged, remark, and decided to make a video mocking the LFC protest video on the back of it. Slightly ironic, considering you're obviously trying to show how out of context the original commment was.
@smithrory No, the point of this vid, as I explained, is to parody the original LFC video. But he's doing exactly what he's mocking the other video for - taking one remark that was out of context. Just as the original 'rape' comment was out of context (and deserves to be ridiculed), so this poor mans Jake Whitehall has made a video mocking the WHOLE of the original video based on that one remark. Thus, his video is just as disproprortionate as the remark he's mocking. A bit of an own goal.
@smithrory So he's taken one 5sec line from the vid and made a 2:09sec vid on the strength of it? And that's not out of context? In any case, he clearly attempted to mock the whole vid (he even alludes to this in his uploader comments) - the fact it might not seem obvious just confirms how shallow the parody is, by concentrating on one remark as a representation. There's plenty there to be mocked, even if (unlike the uploader) I can appreciate the passion behind it - but this is lazy IMO.
1)The video is more a mockery of that particular statement.
2) He's not showing how out of context the comment was. Whats-his-face's comment wasn't out of context, it was fully in context. It was just a massive exaggeration and ridiculous.
Note to yourself: parodying is all well and good but you have to get your facts right. The club is in debt, serious debt, to the tune of £280 to one bank and £140 million to the owners. So it is not Liverpool fan's crying out that we are not a success, it is Liverpool fans crying because their club is in danger of going into administration. If this was any other business the debt would have been called in and the club would have been in administration a long time ago and its assets stripped.
This is brilliant, Ian McCulloch should be ashamed of himself for that ridiculous metaphor about Gillet and Hicks. Although 'The Killing Moon' was a great tune. Top marks sir.
You Liverpudlian cunts are just in desperation and have too much sorrow and forgivingness and a ridiculous amount of false pride to realise just how shit you are, even if he is being serious, you fake (Should be supporting Everton) - (I'm not) scouse cunts need to get a grip and realise that the championship is where you belong. disgusting people, really, fucking foul, ask red n meth, THAT SHIT'S FUCKIN FOUL
Perfect. The person who put together the original video must be a first class tool, and I bet the more famous of the people on the video are cringing they allowed themselves to be involved in such a whiny, sulky aggressive stunt.
why is every1 getting so upset will the liverpool protests its seems like a jealous envious rant at them 4 supporting their club and showing that if their gonna go down they'll do it fighting thanks 2 them highlighting how corrupt and slevein hicks is he wont get another loan 2 fuck up the club even more, this video is hilarious tho but yous fools having a stab at supporters need you little empty heads checked
Well done for capturing so accurately the pile of tosh that St. Liverpool F.C .is, all football clubs now are nothing but "franchises" to use the yankee term and the self-indulgence of Liverpool "fans" and their attitude have put me right off, when Pompey were dying the death of a thousand cuts I could feel some sympathy at the decent performance of their players and fans, but as far as I am concerned Liverpool has added another nail in its coffin here.
what a massive load of shite. Unfunny and pointless and as much a waste of my 2 minutes as of the gimp who made its time. This. Blows. Loads. Of. Oxbridge. Cock.
Ripped them apart, I'm sure many others will follow. Amazingly they don't realise how pitiful they appear.
The only thing is they denigrate a great city because of their name, surely they should change it to "SCALLY ROVERS" and stop pulling down all of merseyside.
Brilliant. People are entitled to care about their football club, but the Dear Mr. Hicks video is ridiculous. Comparisons to rape and house burning just make Liverpool FC seem like a laughing stock (well, even more than usual....)
Well done, mate. At last a person who hasn't swallowed the embarrassing nonsense that is Dear Mr. Hicks and shows a shred of intelligence on the whole situation. Good on you.
@benzz007 no. The guys took an absolutely disgustingly cringe-worthy video of self loathing, idiotic Liverpool "fans" and satyred it to perfection. The fact some "fans" think rape is akin to the running of a football club speaks volumes of just how much of a laughing stock the club has become. Real shame, we used to command respect.
Brilliantly performed piss-take. I love the 'A new stadium has been promised and that promise has not been fulfilled... finish you're coffee and leave!' bit. The person operating the camera sounded like they were trying to stifle a laugh too. I'm a football fan but I always enjoy comedy based on some of the preposterous elements of it, especially from people who clearly aren't really interested in it themselves!
Good video mate, love parodies and you're entitled to your opinion and I agree McCulloch's analogy was over the top but it was likely meant to be, look at Fitzy's face as he says it... some people are just to willing to bite. Controversy? got people talking about it, got people parodying it and linking the original video... I'd say job done.
@chillself Yes, 'Fitzy' smirks at the preposterously crude analogy, but I believe it was delivered and intended sincerely. And if not, is that really the kind of analogy that should be used so flippantly? It isn't just the analogy that the video is 'parodying' of course. The whole video was sentimental, pompous and actually quite unpleasantly aggressive in places. I'm not sure what 'job' has been fulfilled, as I can only see that it's promoting the negative traits of Liverpudlian stereotypes.
@bdhfhf I couldn't give a flying fuck if people believe negative stereotypes about Liverpool fans, they obviously haven't got the brains they were born with. As for the purpose, simply to go viral and let Tom Hicks what a vile human being is, this is not just about Liverpool Football Club though, it's also about the game overall. Spirit of Shankly are wholeheartedly behind FSF and their aims... the problem goes deeper than just what's happening at Liverpool, see the Mancs for one.
@chillself the negative traits of Liverpudlian stereotypes, I said. They're all on display. What purpose does 'going viral' serve? Do you think Tom Hicks cares what people think? The video paints him as a man who is 'raping a family', 'burning a house down', who's 'ruining people's lives', who 'doesn't care about the club'. He's painted as a crazed amoral monster. Do you therefore really think he gives a bollock about some people gurning crass sentiments in front of a white wall?
@bdhfhf No it paints him as a ruthless callous businessman that regards a sports team in the same light as a breakfast cereal... the difference he fails to acknowledge is that there's not that many people emotionally involved with breakfast cereal. The burning down the house analogy is about right, the rape analogy is OTT but this video wasn't scripted and sometimes you exaggerate when you feel passionate about something, I'm sure McCulloch wouldn't stand by that analogy.
@chillself fair enough, I'm not trying to belittle or challenge your passion for what's happening at Liverpool. I disagree that the analogy wouldn't be stood by. It's not as if they had cameras thrust in their faces in the street and flustered out a reply. They had time to think about what they were going to say. As I said before, it isn't just that analogy that I found distasteful, but the tone of the whole video. I'm not trying to change your opinion though, and I respect your passion for it.
@chillself a vile human being of course no dramatisation there, a vile human being is robert mugabbe, nick griffin etc but no for you it is a millionaire who refuses to put money into a sinking ship of debt
@tjwow123 Who created that sinking ship of debt? They refused to put a penny of their own into the club, not a single penny, that includes buying the club. Theoretically I could have bought the club using the same method. That's why he's a vile human being, promising one thing and doing the opposite, yes we can argue about how vile he is in comparison to Mugabe etc that just means there are worse people not that he doesn't deserve to be called vile, the same M.O at Corinthians and Texas Rangers.
@bdhfhf and of course the video is sentimental and aggressive Tom Hicks has put our club into regression. Whilst you may not care what happens to your football team (if you even like the game) we care about what happens to us, it's the heart of the community, it's the biggest business in Liverpool and a big part of the local economy.
@chillself please don't try to play crap tunes on my heartstrings, I haven't stated I don't care. I simply think the video was pointless, crude, offensive, misguided, and ultimately unhelpful.
@bdhfhf not trying to play your heart strings mate, just saying that some of us aren't simply going to stand by and watch our club sink into obscurity. You say the video is pointless, crude, offensive misguided and unhelpful... you're quite entitled to your opinion but it doesn't make it right... I can point to thousands of people who obviously like and appreciate the video's sentiments.
@bdhfhf ...or it's him sharing the same views as myself, that anyone who was involved in the first video needs to have a look at themselves, and get a hobby that doesn't turn them into the whiniest of whiny bastards..
So it's not just Evertonians that found Liverpool's highly distasteful video a complete embarrassment. Absolute brilliant response. Massaging my nan's tears into her own breasts! hahahaha :) x

Plus its funny as clown kittens

Just superb.

@craigsaph shred of intelligance .. your being sarcastic rite???
benzz007 1 year ago

I'd say job done.
chillself 1 year ago
@chillself Yes, 'Fitzy' smirks at the preposterously crude analogy, but I believe it was delivered and intended sincerely. And if not, is that really the kind of analogy that should be used so flippantly? It isn't just the analogy that the video is 'parodying' of course. The whole video was sentimental, pompous and actually quite unpleasantly aggressive in places. I'm not sure what 'job' has been fulfilled, as I can only see that it's promoting the negative traits of Liverpudlian stereotypes.
bdhfhf 1 year ago
@bdhfhf Also, what purpose is the video meant to serve? Is this really likely to facilitate the sale of Liverpool football club?
bdhfhf 1 year ago
@bdhfhf I couldn't give a flying fuck if people believe negative stereotypes about Liverpool fans, they obviously haven't got the brains they were born with. As for the purpose, simply to go viral and let Tom Hicks what a vile human being is, this is not just about Liverpool Football Club though, it's also about the game overall. Spirit of Shankly are wholeheartedly behind FSF and their aims... the problem goes deeper than just what's happening at Liverpool, see the Mancs for one.
chillself 1 year ago
@chillself the negative traits of Liverpudlian stereotypes, I said. They're all on display. What purpose does 'going viral' serve? Do you think Tom Hicks cares what people think? The video paints him as a man who is 'raping a family', 'burning a house down', who's 'ruining people's lives', who 'doesn't care about the club'. He's painted as a crazed amoral monster. Do you therefore really think he gives a bollock about some people gurning crass sentiments in front of a white wall?
bdhfhf 1 year ago
@bdhfhf No it paints him as a ruthless callous businessman that regards a sports team in the same light as a breakfast cereal... the difference he fails to acknowledge is that there's not that many people emotionally involved with breakfast cereal. The burning down the house analogy is about right, the rape analogy is OTT but this video wasn't scripted and sometimes you exaggerate when you feel passionate about something, I'm sure McCulloch wouldn't stand by that analogy.
chillself 1 year ago
@chillself fair enough, I'm not trying to belittle or challenge your passion for what's happening at Liverpool. I disagree that the analogy wouldn't be stood by. It's not as if they had cameras thrust in their faces in the street and flustered out a reply. They had time to think about what they were going to say. As I said before, it isn't just that analogy that I found distasteful, but the tone of the whole video. I'm not trying to change your opinion though, and I respect your passion for it.
bdhfhf 1 year ago
@chillself a vile human being of course no dramatisation there, a vile human being is robert mugabbe, nick griffin etc but no for you it is a millionaire who refuses to put money into a sinking ship of debt
tjwow123 1 year ago
@tjwow123 Who created that sinking ship of debt? They refused to put a penny of their own into the club, not a single penny, that includes buying the club. Theoretically I could have bought the club using the same method. That's why he's a vile human being, promising one thing and doing the opposite, yes we can argue about how vile he is in comparison to Mugabe etc that just means there are worse people not that he doesn't deserve to be called vile, the same M.O at Corinthians and Texas Rangers.
chillself 1 year ago
@bdhfhf and of course the video is sentimental and aggressive Tom Hicks has put our club into regression. Whilst you may not care what happens to your football team (if you even like the game) we care about what happens to us, it's the heart of the community, it's the biggest business in Liverpool and a big part of the local economy.
chillself 1 year ago
@chillself please don't try to play crap tunes on my heartstrings, I haven't stated I don't care. I simply think the video was pointless, crude, offensive, misguided, and ultimately unhelpful.
bdhfhf 1 year ago 9
@bdhfhf not trying to play your heart strings mate, just saying that some of us aren't simply going to stand by and watch our club sink into obscurity. You say the video is pointless, crude, offensive misguided and unhelpful... you're quite entitled to your opinion but it doesn't make it right... I can point to thousands of people who obviously like and appreciate the video's sentiments.
chillself 1 year ago
@bdhfhf ...or it's him sharing the same views as myself, that anyone who was involved in the first video needs to have a look at themselves, and get a hobby that doesn't turn them into the whiniest of whiny bastards..
