I do want the show to end for the sake of the kids and Jon and Kate. I would hate to see them break up but if the show continues I'm afraid that is what will happen. I'm glad you believe every last ink spot of the tabloid articles. Because if they were true, Britney Spears would have 15 children, cancer, a Muslim husband and Chinese twin girls.
As for them loving each other, at one time, maybe Kate loved Jon as much as she's capable of loving another human (which is limited).
But love hasn't be evident in actions between them in a very long while. No one 'wants' a divorce, but we do want what's best for the kids plus Jon is a classically abused spouse.
Either Kate & Jon go into therapy to work on their issues or they divorce. Since I don't see the former happening before the coming of the next Ice Age, then its the latter.

I like Kate, kids, this show.... I liked Jon (if he is a cheater... it is so wrong! the people need to work out or divorce - not cheat!) The show gives us a lot of joy, hapinnes, some touching moments.... it was really nice to observe it. Kate has strong personality (and Jon knew it - and he want to married with her second time - remember!)

I dont agree with how she handles her emotions, and how she expresses her concerns, but if she just got to know herself better, and realizes what she wants.. I really think there is hope. Maddy is showing signs of abuse/neglect in a textbook sense. Joel is flinching at rapid movements, Colin is rocking and blinking rapidly, Leah has self induced vomiting and migraines etc.

When parents use their kids to earn money, it's a very very bad thing. Jon and Kate could end the show today and probably never have to work again in their lives, plus the kids are set for college etc.

The mainstream TV channels, newspapers, journalists, authors and commentators as well as family members are all saying the same thing.
The legal investigation by the state of Penn. isn't tabloid stuff. Neither is their church asking them to leave or another church asking for investigations into abuse charity funds.
Neither is the article in the PA paper interviewing their neighbors. Or the reports from TLC themselves.
You're the one looking at the tabloids, not the real data.

The Lancaster PA has an article about them today, with interviews with their old neighbors and a headline about them having wore out their welcome.
The liked Jon and the kids, but Kate-- no. They were also very glad to see the TLC camera crews finally leave.
The more you read, the more you find out that this has been one huge lie and scam to make money off their kids just like the Dionne Quints.
Shame on TLC for being part of it!

As for them loving each other, at one time, maybe Kate loved Jon as much as she's capable of loving another human (which is limited).
But love hasn't be evident in actions between them in a very long while. No one 'wants' a divorce, but we do want what's best for the kids plus Jon is a classically abused spouse.
Either Kate & Jon go into therapy to work on their issues or they divorce. Since I don't see the former happening before the coming of the next Ice Age, then its the latter.

Jon has to be the idiot of the century or at least the decade. If not for his selfish, immature, dumb actions this family was thriving with all the t.v., video, books, and other endorsement deals and much much more. PA investigations, negative publicity, and backlash on this family has all been caused by this one imbecile. This could have been all avoided for sure if not for his dumb choices that he has made.

I remember when they got their wedding vows renewed and they told their kids they would never have to worry about them getting divorced and mommy and daddy will always love eachother no matter what. I hope Jon and Kate can work this all out. Jon is upset about being popular. I don't think it is something he chose, it is something Kate pushed him into and then uses the Kids as an excuse for him to keep up the show for the money. The kids can have a good life without the show too. I don't think Jon wanted all those Kids even though he loves them dearly, I think he was forced into it all. He was happy with just Cara and Mady. At first he didn't even want kids. That can make a man bitter.

Sorry, it's not paparazzi's fault. They asked for this, and I think Kate thinks she is a TV star. I don't know if Jon cheated or not, but you couldn't blame him. In one episode after another, as they're sitting doing a sort of recap , Kate will say "Jon, you're breathing too loud." and then keep harping on it. Or she will tell him to stop scratching. Excuse me, but is she his mother, too? If she has to tell him these things, can't it be off camera where it's not so publicly belittling?

While all this is extremely sad and I would not want to go through this publicly, this is probably good for people to see - that Christian couples have problems and can work through them. All this hinging on them getting counseling, showing that on the show, and them sticking this out. WE, the hungry for dirt public, are going to HAVE to stay out of it, though!
