SoobaaSteve has no clue what he is talking about you can see that there is no body lift on that truck and if there is its only and inch or two. at 47 seconds you can see the front leaf springs which means yes it has the straight axle conversion because chevy didnt make any of those modles with straight axle up front

@Torqu3d actually the undercarrage of vehicles cause a lot of wind drag which causes bad gas milegae, thats why newer trucks have the big air dams on the front. but im sure with 40in tires and 16in lift hes not expecting 20mpgs

my buddies got a duramax with a programmer... You can't even begin to comprehend how much torque and acceleration that thing has until you ride in it. Will smoke the shit out of any ricer and i dont just mean diesel smoke. Fuck ford, if I don't have a duramax its eithers cummins or ill re engine it with a detroit

Never had any tranny problems with my Dodges, I do with my Fords though! And front end problems?! Never heard of any of those with Dodge, Dodge has a solid solid front end suspension set up. Chevys independent is what gives problems.

my dad has a 01 cummins, front end has had ball joints 3 times, 2 stering boxes, and it startd gettin death wobble about a week ago, no it needs a trac bar bushing.

and my uncle had a 96, same thing, balljoints, steering box., and a tranny @ 200k. And my dads i put a torque converter in it.

I had a 98 3500 chevy, it was ok until i lifted it. now i have 03 chevy 3500 mason dump, with a 10ft fisher, and 100K and havent touched it. It only wears tires if it gets below 1/4 tread. Forget about ford
