This is why I use Linux Ubuntu and Linux Mint ... There are no known Linux viruses on the web. Any Unix based or unix like OS is safer than Windows ... Linux, BSD ,Mac OS all safer than Windows. Linux , and BSD are free.

when i was 13 i got a computer on my bday and after 2 weeks this crappy thing just came up and said i had a virus in my computer! I downloaded the virus itself just because of the fake threat! but its alright now cause my mum is a real expert at computers and fixed everything damn thing for only 6 hours! FEWWWW!!!! :)

mcafee is shit in scareware.

I know when I had scareware.

Mcafee couldn't do a shit. Whole the program was like frozen.

Thanks to a free anti malware program: Malwarebytes, have i removed the scareware and not through mcafee :(

I hate to be a downer, but when people tell why they fell for a virus, they might be feeding virus makers with new ideas.

Good thing my computer got System Restore. But that same thing happened to me, now i know better to not trust those "helping" computer scanning, identity stealing, dumb programs....
