its not a bezel freel display and its not a proof they figured out semitransparent backligh/OLED as there is light behind it. From the look of things its only the darkening layer of LCD.
The future of bezel-free monitor :) that is if they can make it not have the side bezel, which im pretty sure will happen by end of 2011 or early 2012, based on how technology is now today
@computerfreaq17 Chances are that for house applications the LCD will be on the inside, and a standard glass window will be on the outside making it double pane for AC/Heat efficiency.
@TheDeag1e secondary LCD for the back. with ultra thin lcd screens that are solar powered one of the design features at some point will be to allow you to view content without having to see anything outside the window. plus a dual layer lcd would also allow for a natural 3-d effect that can be used as part of the user interface. outside would see a holiday screen saver, and inside would see porn (or whatever).
