@chillichomper "Kotzen shreds like a mofo as always but the improv doesn't seem to flow well" like you said kotzen is one hell of a player but hes not really best suited to this song.gilbert is better for the metal.
I love this album (bought it several years back). It's just... It's so fucking poorly produced and sounds like shit, even though the performances are great. It really takes a lot away. :(
Not bad, but this is nowhere near as tight as the original. Tony is probably a good bassist, but this track sorely misses a cracking bassist like Steve Harris. Joe Lynn Turner is the best thing on this cover. I had the 12" Vinyl back in 1984, by the way - my best 13th Birthday present!

would be better if Turner would do this cover in 86, then he actually could sing very well.
rancerpigy 5 months ago 2
i don't think that he is better, there isn't just any better singer than Bruce Bruce, maybe Eric Adams... but Turner rocks. Great job

Wow.JLT's vocals sound a lot better than Bruce's.With him on vocals,I can even enjoy the song that I actually like very much ;) Coolest riff ever.

Notice how all the covers are tuned down to give the greatest compliment to Bruce Dickinson, saying "we just fucking can't do that shit"

This goes to show you how good Bruce Dickinson is. None of these singers can sing like he does, he's unique. UP THE IRONS!!!
