its far from basic. Chad sexton has been noted for the complexity of this solo and his prior solos many many times. Basic is your state of mind. just because its not blast beats and tripple bass peddling does not make it basic.

This is a good drum solo. He uses the moeller technique a few times. I've been playing for about three years or more, and he's very basic and rudimentary but unbelieveable.

The difference between Fall Out Boy and 311 is simple. 311 didnt sell out to make money.

Also the beat is simple, but thats the beauty behind it. Everyone gets too overworked about how complicated it is to play a beat. Who cares if its a complicated beat? It doesnt make it better, it doesnt mean you have more talent. All it means is that you would rather spend more time trying to over complicate something that should be simple.
