i bought one nearly new for £200 what a rifle best springer i ever shot the build quality is rolls royce, esk yes its a little heavy , but a flawless bit of kit
@remoman it is a bit heavy, but you get used to it, especially if you use the right stance. Put your left hand just in front of the trigger guard, and rest your left elbow on your rib cage.
I have the same gun, also in walnut but I don't have that level of grain in the stock....absolutely lovely....so much more than an air weapon...work of art for sure. Lovely to shoot too!
@SynthD00D hey dude good shooting recommend upgrading a few pieces one u could upgrade is the cocking shiw and i now get nickel sized groupings at about 7o yards :)good video
@airsoftmaniac911 It does have a small kick, nothing to worry about. But, if you're small, the bigger problem will be the weight. It is a heavy rifle. With a good scope on it, it's over 10 pounds.
i was thinking of buying this rifle but eas wondering what power it was and how loud is it, im new to air rifles so can you put a silencer on a springer ne info i woul be thankful
Depending on the pellet used, the TX200 has about 16 foot-pounds of muzzle energy. With a 7.9 grain Crosman Premier Supermatch pellet, I get about 960 feet per second velocity.
The gun is not terribly loud, as it has a built in moderator inside the shrouded barrel. My Air Arms S410 is much louder (especially when cranked up).
I really need to make a video of loading, cocking, and shooting this airgun; just have been too busy for quite a while.
Scope rings are a one piece Beeman/Sportsmatch "medium" mount. The TX has a lot of recoil, so the one piece mount helps eliminate scope creep. There's a scope stop pin also.
Thanks! Yeah, I like it a lot. I bought it, having never seen it. Guess I got lucky on the stock, but, truthfully, AA does a really nice job on their stocks. Just a bit of a lottery as to what the grain will look like.
So even though the Bushnell Legend isn't an airgun scope it is holding up alright and not being damaged? Just Wondering cuz i was going to put a leapers 5th gen. 3-9x40 on the one im saving for.
That walnut stock is awesome!, I have a TX200 beech stock, is nice but walnut stock is out of this world. Very accurate, yes, like OMEU1 says: The Rolls Royce of spring/piston rifles.
It is an underlevel model. What looks like a magazine tube is actually the cocking lever. I may post a follow-up video at some point showing cocking, loading and shooting.

@BicknellJ Thanks! Yes, it's a fantastic piece. Lately, I've been shooting nickel-sized groups at 25 yds, offhand.

do you know what the grooves do on the port? are they just for looks?
OregonBackpacker 1 year ago
@OregonBackpacker -- they are for the anti-beartrap mechanism. A ratchet holds the loading port open so you don't lose your fingers.

@SynthD00D
Doesn't the muzzle energy your quoting make it illegal ?
Seems confusing.
derbbus 1 year ago
@derbbus - In the UK and many European countries, yes, it would, with an FAC. But, in the USA, no such restriction exists at this time.

@partyhead11 I have one of these.
It is quiet as it has an integrated full length silences.
Very accurate indeed.
I group within a 1p coin at over 50 yards.
Much better than my old Weihrauch.
