  • Wow, my friend's favorite killer Whale is Tilikum...

  • like a boss

  • put the Orca down. Just like the polar bear "Binky" that attacked a human in Anchorage, Alaska Zoo. This horrible pet killed three humans to date, not just a mauling.

  • When a person commits murder we don't say "they had hundreds of interactions that were safe" then let them go, we prosecute and deal with them accordingly. Not saying that whales are equal to people but they usually live to be 30. That's plenty of time for a living thing to get cheesed off about being a prisoner to a bunch of pink monkeys. They should of put the whale down and out of its misery the first time this happened.

  • @Yamsauce uhh, how about relase it? " oh its useless to us now i guess its time to shoot it"

    what a joke

  • Killer whale huh.. Oh, KILLER whale. Interesting, just interesting

  • This whale has been in captivity for over 20 years and is apparently treated poorly. No wonder it snapped.

  • dolphins (including orca) are the most intelligent sea creatures. they could communicate, make plans, chat, giving signals to their pack in the sea.

this is noy accident. he may have plans for days and he just sick and tired of this.

  • this whale already killed 2 people before this accident, it amazes me they havent put the animal down... a human life is worth more than an animal's.

  • @stangsaleens7 Yeah, put him down..because he totally wanted to be captured and turned into an attraction at sea world.

  • @SinisterTechnician dogs, cats, cows, horses, about every pet should be released into the wild then.

  • @stangsaleens7 are you saying that if the last 2 animals in the world last of their species killed a human you would want them dead? they just want to be free they want to survive in their natural habitat they are not meant to be kept in captivity.

  • @thesuperjohn57 the thing is killer whales are not endangered, secondly every animal would like to be free from captivity dogs, cats, cows, horses, ect.... whats your argument?

  • Comment removed

  • Thats why these animals should be in the ocean and not in an aquarium with an idiot trying to train them.

  • @pe6obutilkata Because humans are so much better than animals, right? When exactly was that decided?

  • "The orca is also suspected in organizing orcas in the other SeaWorld parks of conducting numerous armed robberies on patrons to Sea World. SeaWorld is still investigating those claims. The park says it's still unsure whether or not to press any murder or manslaughter charges against Tilikum. Tilikum refused our interview but his lawyer says that Tilikum is deeply sorry for this unfortunate loss of human life, and feels it is a "tragic accident." Maggie."

  • The first death 1991-He was yet to be trained and the guy slipped in with 2 females in it was going to age agitate them

The Second Death 1999- The guy hide and when the park was closed sneaked into the pool, so his own fault

The Third Time - Like they said if it was not obeying or not acting right, dont do anything with it! Let it calm down :D

They should be in the sea anyway enjoying life not in a tiny pool made to do circus acts

  • These animals are too smart and strong to be kept in captivity. When you put a smart animal in a box it gets bored. He was probably playing with the trainer not knowing how fragile she is...

  • @dblubarry no no, im pretty sure the woman was giving it commands to back down, this whale was going for exactly what it wanted......if you were locked in a cage and a woman came every single day to give you treats for tricks wouldn't you get sick of it? this whale was probably like ok, ill have my day bitch and when i do, your ass is mine, and so it did

  • They are amazing and we are supposed to think that only as we watch animal planet...they aren't fish they are whales

  • He won't kill anybody if he's in the ocean...

  • WHY THE FUCK ARE PEOPLE HANGING OUT AROUND A 12,000 POUND KILLER FUCKING WHALE!??

  • Whales are just as smart as dolphins, their like US, no one likes to be held captive, so why would whales like also?

  • 32 captive attacks > 3 wild attacks (none fatal) ... should say something ....

  • let the fu$%%ing thing goooooo. what the hell does this tell you? why are these people so stupid?

  • MusikFreak4141 Someone dies, you blame the human. I agree these are big dangerous animals. But they are domesticated animals. FYI Orcas are actually a species of dolphin, not whale. Thus, they enjoy being trained and fed free food just like dolphins. That's why they're trainable. This one obviously is an exception. It wouldn't survive in the wild, and they can't keep it near people, so the best option is to put it down. Btw, I guess your mom never told you, but f*ck is a BAD word...now you know!

  • @FalconFastest123 Oh my god , PLEASE, orcas are NOT domestic animals, and just so you know, Sea World grabs a lot of their Orcas from the wild. They are social animals by nature and do not enjoy being in a small tank.

Wild animals are not pets, this is a human mistake.

  • @brunothebrowndog I know they grab some of their animals from the wild- all rescues, btw- but wild animals can be domesticated. Look, I love Orcas, but this one clearly is too dangerous. Hundreds of orcas have zero problem with living in their "small" tanks and getting fed free food every day instead of having to work hard to get occasional kills in the wild to avoid starvation. Plus, many animals are proven to be happier when you give them a job- they aren't lazy like humans.

  • @FalconFastest123 Hahaha all rescues? what is that lie? rescue from what?

Of course wild animals can be domesticated, but that takes THOUSANDS of years. The animal genome is not as plastic as to change a lifestyle of independence and group sustainability to nothing to do and be given dead fish. Really, don't believe that bullshit. Like you said, animals need stimuli, but not jumping and tossing balls, but having REAL lives.

  • @FalconFastest123 Ps. I see what you are saying about this one being a particularly violent animal, i mean, Keiko didn't kill anybody, but what I'm saying is finally this animal made a case for all of those that are there.

  • @FalconFastest123 I'm afraid to say that Brunothebrowndog is absolutely correct, Orca are in no way domesticated, at all. Dogs were domesticated over hundreds and hundreds of years of breeding wild dogs/wolves that were (through genetics and behaviour) more inclined to be social with humans, this is not the case AT ALL with Orca. Orca are social and live family units in the wild, and thrive on learning how to kill their prey effectively, or how to kill new prey.

  • @FalconFastest123 (continued) Once one Orca in the family unit has learnt how to kill a particular new type of prey (such as the case seen with the Orca killing great white sharks), this knowledge will get passed on to family members for future hunts. No doubt being kept in a tiny tank with nothing but doing the same tricks over and over made the poor Orca bored as hell; I bet he thought having a little play time hunting practice was great fun, as it's in their nature, no?

  • @FalconFastest123 No, this is not a domesticated species, not be a long stretch. A dog is a domesticated species, they have been man's best friend for thousands of years. An Orca is the apex predator on planet earth. Humans are not on it's menu so SOME will tolerate humans. Your logic amazes me: because an orca is a COUSIN of the dolphin they automatically enjoy everything that dolphins do? What I find most amusing though is that you have tried so hard to appear intelligent... looool

  • @jojamama11 An yes Einstein, it's always the human's fault. In case you haven't noticed we have the superior brainpower in the animal kingdom thus the better judgement perhaps?? For the record "mr know it all" there have been numerous captive orca attacks this is by no mean's the exception. And i think i speak for us all when i tell you to go and suck a giant hard on. Profanities exist in our language too by the way, retard.

  • "DANGEROUS" ahhhh never would of guessed that you know im sure the name killer whale doesn't help you have enough knowledge of the whale

  • aaaaand another for the Killer Whale!

  • they dont kill it because it cost too much to train a new one LOL

  • Orca, the Killer Whale.....its called that for a reason lol

what was funny tho i had on in the background was the music from the classic film Orca the Killer Whale, track 5 the fighter, the victory the death by Ennio Morricone...suited this video very well lol

  • One would think after the 1st death, they would've left Tilikum alone, and freed him. You heard the woman "he was aggravated and not obeying orders." People don't do tricks with komodo dragons, so why do them with Whales, Lions, Grizzly bears, etc. Long story short, free Tili, he's obviously not fond of people or that fish bowl they call a tank.

  • People say it horrible, I thought it was pretty funny

  • An animal that is dangerous to humans should not be released, it should be put down.

  • @FalconFastest123

Shut, the fuck up its here own fault stupid bitch she wanted to swim with this big ass whale, wonder why the call it "Killer- whale" idiot, they put the Killer whale in a Tank for a long time and teached them some shit just to entertain fucking fat scary american twats like you. Poor whale, should live in free nature not in a tank.

  • @MusikFreak4141 And the award for the biggest potty-mouth goes to MusicFreak4141!! Wow- you REALLY convinced me!... that people with low vocabularies resort to vulgarity to prove their points. If they do release this whale, I hope it runs into YOU while you're swimming at the beach!

  • @FalconFastest123 What beach you retard? Killer whales live in "cold waters", if i would decide to go swimming there i would "Freeze to death" before a killer whale comes and kills me or whatever. Where they live its MOSTLY always cold like: Northeast Pacific, British Columbia, Washington State Alaska . But I really hope that you go swimming there, you little fucker!

  • @FalconFastest123 beach? orcas won't swim too close to the beach.

they live in 100m depth or more.

  • @MusikFreak4141 Normal killer whales dont kill humans but this one was very aggresive

  • THis is why we dont put whales in a tank

  • @GothicRocker8411 It's a dolphin.

  • 3 people. holy shit get rid of that thing sounds like it is not down to be stuck in a fucking tank

  • What did they expect, he is an animal like any human :) wouldn't we try to free ourselves if we would be in a situatuion like that (I'm mean captivity)?

  • Wait here *reads* you'd think after the second death they'd think "Hmm, maybe messing with this whale isn't a smart idea".

  • 3 people have died to this whale Tilikum. Why the hell has it not been released. They still have it in shows. What dumbasses

  • The poor creatures are swimming in circles. people watching the show thinking oh they do no harm at all to the whales but what LIES. It is very tragic but you have to remember its wild and it will always be. If you put it back in the ocean now it won't know how to take care of itself and sadly die because its so used to being fed by hand. STOP THIS SEAWORLD NONSENSE TODAY!

  • what the fuck is going on in the usa?!

  • Someone shoot that whale in the fucking face!

  • @cmanmaxwell Shut up what if you where that whale wouldn't be so happy

  • @swimmingisme why, I get free food with no effort, I'm safe, I get to play. fuck that, I say we kill them all, waste of money these whales are and they don't even pay taxes! lol

  • Are people really the fucking stupid? Animals such as whales and other undomesticated animals shouldn't be kept in cages and in pools. They are born hunters and killers who should be in the wild where they belong.

He's killed THREE times! This whale has killed out of instinct, rebellion, and fear. He should be in the wild where he fucking belongs along with the REST of them.

  • I'm kind of wondering if the trainers got what they deserved. We have no idea if these animals are abused, or constantly being teased, until frustration took over. If you swim with a large fish, you're taking a huge risk. That's their domain, humans stand no chance in the waters with any massive fish. We are animals, but we can't just assume we know how other animals think, or how they are going to behave, even if they're being manipulated.

  • SEE! THIS IS WHY I DONT FUCKING GO TO WATER SHOWS OR TOO FAR OUT TO SEA!!!

  • I wish killer whales would live up to their names and do that more often...

  • Comment removed

  • Keep these whales in the wild!

  • kill the whale. dont try to make more money off the poor thing. it has killed 3 time destory it, we do the same thing to a dog when it attacks. the whale has had enough being used as a atm. and it wil kill again and again. so why to they keep letting people swim with the whale why?

  • instead of ricking ppl's lives just let the whale go cuz i wud do the same if i was held captive for more than 16 years for other ppl's pleasure. like this if ur on the whales side

  • Did someone have reclame thumb's up when that's sucks

  • anyone who says to release the whale into the ocean is a dumbass

do you really think that an animal who lived with a bunch of trainers who GIVE the whale his/her food good live on there own.

once an animal forgets how to supply its own food it obviously wont survive alone.

stop being such dumbasses and start using that tiny thing in ur head.....called a brain.

he/she is just a whale ad diserves love and care not death

  • You'd think after one death that'd be a great sign not to work with the animal anymore.

  • What do these idiots thinks gonna happen? Tilikum is a living thing just like us Humans why should he and all other animals who are locked away from their natural habitat have to suffer the same thing every day , i realy feel sorry for all the animals in the zoos who have to do the same thing everday its like a animal jail they sit there every day while people stare at them , as ive said Humans are the worst creatures, give Tilikum and the oither animals respect and let them go.

  • anyone got the link for the ACTUAL footage?

  • "Seemed agitated."

Maybe training it like a pet and keeping it in a tiny area would have something to do with it.

  • "When purchased, my old master probably thought as little of my advent, as he would have thought of the addition of a single pig to his stock! Like a wild young working animal, I am to be broken to the yoke of a bitter and life-long bondage. Indeed, I now saw, in my situation, several points of similarity with that of the oxen. They were property, so was I; they were to be broken, so was I; Covey was to break me, I was to break them; break and be broken – such is life" F. Douglass on slavery

  • If the authorities starved this orca to death, after killing 3 people, the wackos would be storming the walls of Sea world and the authorities would relent to save the poor stupid beast. But, the courts legally murdered and starved Terri Schiavo

and everyone said it's the law??????

  • probably wants to be in the ocean and not in a theme park

  • @jmanwvu No, There is much higher probability that the whale was sick / hungry or just annoyed because of some reason.

You can't take every single tragedy that happen to raise your personal views about animal captivity. Along the disadvantages of the captivity, there are many advantages.

Why all the environmentalists so sure that they know what is best for the animals? They sound like some religious assholes, that think that they are smarter than everybody else.

  • @bobobububu there's no advantage on the orca's side.

  • Loks like we have a *puts glases on* ...serial killer whale. YEEEEEEAAAHHHHHHH

  • WHALES

  • What kind of idiot gets in a tank with a killer whale!

  • Oh my god! That was the trainer I saw at SeaWorld just a few years before!

  • get rid of the dam whale. "Point Blank". why and how are you going to defend the whale. He should have been gone since the first murder.

  • it's an orca.

  • u r al gey

  • No disrespect to Ms Dawn Brancheau, RIP. But, from Tilikum's point of view, he did not apply to SeaWorld for a job where he can only eat if he performs tricks to amuse humans. I'm pretty sure he can make a better living free in the ocean. I actually applied for my job and sometimes I want to thrash my boss around for his stupid commands, but I willingly applied there so I behave myself. Tilikum didn't apply for this, so just imagine how he feels.

  • @RandomUsername010 He is a whale...

  • @RandomUsername010

    very well said!

  • i dont understand if killer whale like her and kill her how that mean sence

  • Damn Nature! You Scary!

  • maybe he was tired of people balancing on his face LOL

  • thats what you get for messing with nature !

  • Freewilly was a liee ._.

  • This whale don't want to perform "at command". I am sorry the lady died, I truly am, but I think when you put yourself in harms way, expect something bad to happen. (This whale has a history.) They should let him go. He doesn't want to be there.

  • @DakotaY24 It's not a whale. It's a dolphin.

  • Stop using wild animals as circus shows. People don't support this activity and it will cease to exist.

  • Comment removed

  • some are nice. so dont judge them

  • 0:00

  • @traiguy2020 they can't release them back into the wild, that in itself would be a death sentence, he wouldn't be able to survive.

  • FUCK YOU WHAALLLLLEEE! *asian accent*

  • nature hellooooooo

  • The name explains it all KILLER whale!

  • They aren't domestic animals let alone a ****ing circus act.

Misty eyed rainiers and disney deluded Americans need to wake up and spend more time in reality.

I suppose it's worth remembering 50% of people have below average IQ.

  • Whales like these should be released back into the ocean ASAP. I mean really!

  • @trainguy2020

They would need a little re-training but otherwise I agree,.

  • @trainguy2020 A whale that has been domesticated for years and years isn't going to do very well back in the ocean.

  • @trainguy2020 You can't put them back in the ocean once they have been adapted to the human world. They do not know how to adapt back to nature.

  • No warning...except for the fact it's done it before and they're one of the most incredible predators of the sea

  • Hundreds of thousands of interactions since? Meaning like 300,000? So in ten years the whale would have to do 822 performances a day every day for ten years. So if the park was open 12 hours from 0900 - 2100 it would have to do 68.5 shows an hour. I hate when people drastically exaggerate things like this. GABAGE

  • @psychictangler

Oh yea, even if it's just 100k that's roughly 27 per day.

Still they did say interactions so not necessarily shows.

  • So much hate on whales cause of this.......see humans even sharks aren't so evil as humans......

  • the show tanks are bad enough, but has anyone seen the ones they actually stay in? its like a pen, its cruel. no wonder this has happened three times, its one of the worst cases of animal cruelty i know. this whale obviously have a reason for the three killings.

  • Slacktoo, grow up and learn how to conduct yourself in a public forum.

  • you keep a wild aminal captive and what the hell do u think is gonna happen?? the poor whale should be released back into the ocean. It sux that that poor trainer got killed but really what do u expect when u hop into a tank with a 12 ton killer whale....

  • ....fuck commercials.

  • III

  • Fucking commercial idiots

  • Fucking commercial idiots

  • I disliked simply for the ad

  • fucking aminews, i'm not even from america. so crazy

  • It's sad that the trainer died, but being one of Tilli's trainers at Sea World, she must have known that it was very likely that one day it could happen, since he had killed 2 people before in 20 years... , she could have said she didn't want to work with Tilli, but she kept doing her job because she loved it... It is not the whale's fault, it is something that even a whale who has never killed anybody could do... that's their instincts...

  • Animals have no business in captivity get a clue idiots

  • @latrishaerwin u stupid bitch kill urself

  • @LifeAsAshleyTheModel Killer whales have no business in captivity. There are meant to be wild, you go against their nature and that's what happens.

  • what do you expect?their wild animals even though they live in captivity they still have wild instints you can't control it their animals with a mind of their own

  • just like that guy who followed grizzly bears and got eaten by them.....maybe them animals will tolerate humans for awhile, but once they get annoyed they will strike - even after 15 years - and that is their animal right!!

  • i think its funny how some of you guys are saying "they are killer whales of course they will kill someone" or "put them in the wild its safer for us." why not say "they belong in the wild and we took them from their home."

  • Maybe people should just think, why do we call them Killer Whales? Seems kind of stupid to me to have such animals in captivity and not think that a person migh die someday from interacting with such an animal. I say leave the whales in the ocean, a lot safer that way i think!

  • orcas belongs in the wild, fuck seaworld and their trainers

  • @hzj79 the aquarists aren't doing their jobs they was another whale "Orky" that squashed someone but he was paritally blind and in bad health being FORCED to perform. Sea World is only asking for more of this shit to happen....just saying

  • at the start it looked like they were bonded good why would it do that

  • @WoWoRc0WN Ahem... 'Killer' whale..

  • worst video ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i mean it

  • @Grace0962 just because you didn't get to see a lady die doesn't mean you have to be like that.

  • My sister went to Seaworld a couple days ago, they don't even swim with them anymore, they stand on the side and wave their arms and shoot water guns to show where they need to go. They should just drop the whole Shamu show if you're just going to watch them swim in their tank...

  • i have now decided i dont want to be a killer whale trainer at seaworld anymore... D=

  • Put that fucking whale down or take him off the fucking stage !

A dog or housecat would be summarily executed by local animal control if it killed just one human but this orca mudafucka gets to execute three people over 20 years?

We wouldn't even let a person get away with that since we'd ostensibly incarcerate or execute anyone who was caught murdering a person and swimming around with the corpse !

Fuck those dumbass trainers swimming with a "killer whale"

    Rename the show "retarded employees"

  • @SeymourButtz99 these creatures are not toys and they had no choice in this job. You can't just put them down for that, humans put a lot of pressure on them and it snapped, maybe it didnt even snap. The whale might not of known it was going to drown the trainer seeing as it could breathe underwater itself! and i don't agree with any animals being killed for killing humans because it's our fault for "taming" them and keeping them stuck in a house/building instead of them being in the wild.

  • @SeymourButtz99 how do you get killed by a house cat

  • uhhh.. it's called a "killer" whale....

  • @FromTheTube1

    uhhh..it's called an Orca

  • @19rusty66 uhhh... whats the title of the video say troll

  • @FromTheTube1 they are not whale at all, you stooopid

  • @vitalityleonheart8 Lol... They're not?

  • @NicenEasyuk nop, They're actually dolphins, big black killer dolphins

  • @vitalityleonheart8 dolphins are whales, you stooopid

  • @FromTheTube1 Well, kind of.. It's actually part of the dolphin family.

  • @FromTheTube1 its also not meant to be captive

  • @FromTheTube1 Actually, they were referred to as "whale killers" by sailors who witnessed their attacks on larger cetaceans, and over time this name was changed to "killer whales." They are called this not because they harm humans but because they do sometimes kill other whales, hunting them in packs thereby earning the title "Wolves of the Sea."

  • @akychann omg i don't give a fuck. it's called a joke. get the fuck over it. i don't need ever junior historian giving me a history lesson.

  • @FromTheTube1 Well this joke annoys me, so I replied..

  • @akychann i think you should write a scathing letter to cbsnewsonline because they also call it a killer whale.

  • Omg .... what did they do with the whale?

  • That's what they get for locking it in a bathtub for a whale and forcing to entertain everyone for amusement it needs to be set free in the ocean or something not stuck in captivity for ever.

  • A black person wouldnt have gotten they ass in the tank with that shit anyways.

  • @MrMurry187 LOL you are so right!! LOLLLLLLLLL

  • @MrMurry187 LOL you are so right!! LOLLLLLLLLLl

  • Let Tilikum the hell go! Can't you tell he doesn't want to be in captivity! "Man found dead on Tilikum's back from hypothermia with bite marks!"lol Let that damn whale be a whale in the ocean.

  • @nubian05girl I don't know if the whale would be able to hunt on its own?

  • @AmericanThunder Well he has clearly proved that he can kill a human so I'm sure big boy can handle his own in the ocean regarding finding food.
