My story: We own a Verizon Wireless 3G Internet modem that is "grandfathered" (unlimited) due to the fact that it was purchased when it first came out. But the unlimited means that we can use as much GB as we want but after we pass the 5GB limit (How can you manage not to go over on todays internet with a house hold with 4 people?) we get our internet speed reduced to around 200k. (see Part 2)

They must have changed their policy. When I worked there the reps could activate the phone through their network by typing in the HEX code then having you do the normal *228 to finish setting it up. Verizon is hurting so bad I wouldn't be surprised if they charged you for doing that.

Honestly, you or someone with access to your phone, downloaded subscription charging games, you didnt cancel the subscription you just deleted the game, you have to follow the instructions given, i have seen it happen to numerous people, its not vzw its you, not to sound rude but, you might want to check your bill and tell them to remove all subscriptions.
it is almost impossible for verizon to place games on your bill, have the charges stopped occuring, if not tell me what they show up as, do they show up as gin downloads, premium texts charges or what, look on page 3 of your bill, that will show you where on your bill your number appears(if you have more than one phone on your account), then go to your number and look at the very last page that contains info about your usage(after the phone call info) see if there is anything that shows up
If you had an old device and had a dwnld and let's say for example you upgrade that subscription will remain active, so if you go to your my verizon acct under my media it will show up what subscriptions you are being charged for and select to rmv the app if you wish. If its still charging you contact cust care and they can manually rmv it.

imo verizon sucks they say dont be afraid of dead zones anymore but everytime i walk into my school i have no signal and its not because of the building because my friends who have at&t, sprint, t-mobile, even virgin mobile all get full bars i went in and asked and they were like oh "your school is near a valley no one gets signal there" and i said how does my friend get signal with t-mobile then he goes "maybe hes one of the lucky ones" they r just full of shit

Its not water damage, you'll are dip shits. Its a striped wire that flows data to the screen. OH WAIT there is no dedicated path. The phone has nothing to do. So it just stays at a 0 processing screen.
1) Don't throw your phone at the ground.
2) Its partially the phones fault for having a poor design and weak reinforcements.
3) Verizon does have crap customer support but phones don't break for no reason. Anything can break.

Honestly, you or someone with access to your phone, downloaded subscription charging games, you didnt cancel the subscription you just deleted the game, you have to follow the instructions given, i have seen it happen to numerous people, its not vzw its you, not to sound rude but, you might want to check your bill and tell them to remove all subscriptions.

it is almost impossible for verizon to place games on your bill, have the charges stopped occuring, if not tell me what they show up as, do they show up as gin downloads, premium texts charges or what, look on page 3 of your bill, that will show you where on your bill your number appears(if you have more than one phone on your account), then go to your number and look at the very last page that contains info about your usage(after the phone call info) see if there is anything that shows up

If you had an old device and had a dwnld and let's say for example you upgrade that subscription will remain active, so if you go to your my verizon acct under my media it will show up what subscriptions you are being charged for and select to rmv the app if you wish. If its still charging you contact cust care and they can manually rmv it.

It's 10.00 with an upgrade but 200+ to buy it outright, you have an extended warranty that allows you to get a replacement for 50 after the first year, look into what they refer to as multi-fru and see if you qualify, this could allow you to get a different phone, and remember it is your duty to ask questions and know your shit, you cant expect the company to go over every single tidbit with you
