he has a very raspy voice, very sort of distorted, i have a similar voice only im told i sound more like brent smith from shinedown, wich is a huge compliment, because they are my favourite band :). but this man, austin i think his name is, has a very deep and gravely backing to his vocal technique and he should utilise that instead of those high notes when he says "i never want to say goodbye" he cant hit those high notes, he should use his gravely tones instead to deleiver power.
