I think the original song was recorded by George Igman (Ingman ?) this Al Caiola version is different, but unfortunately I cannot say that it is better than the original.

For sure the very best song Al played was "ISTANBUL" try it it is just exciting.

No hay razon para discutir; el problema empieza cuando comparamos. Creo cada artista tiene su propio estilo y cada espectador u oyente tiene su propio gusto. Las Sombras, los Venturosos, Eric clapton, los Babys, le llegan a diferentes niveles de apreciacion. En lo personal , siento gusto por una gran variedad de musicos y me seria imposible nombrar a uno como el mejor.

recuerdo ke este tipo de temas instrumentales los escuche por casualidad cuando buscaba una estacion de radio, luego los encontre en la tienda ley y soriana, jajjjjajajaa, ke tiempos de la prepa la neta, mi cerebro libera dopamina y la uso para pensar y generar ideas nuevas y vision... saludos

This one is too soft. The version by THE SHADOWS has more power put into it. More of an Apache warriors feeling.

Buena rendicion. Pero la la maxima version de este tema (en mi opinion y de muchos otros) sigue siendo la de Los Babys, con el guitarrista maestro Carlos Avila. Version superior a todas las demas versiones.
