  • the Siemens Velaro comming soon to America. this is what the California high speed train will look like.

  • muy bien si lo has hecho tú

  • Jacknife great technology, really amaze me how ppls can be as fan of this cheap technology killing machines, never derail at 250kms/h,

  • Eurostar awarded the contract to Siemens for these trains.

  • The US has got to get its passenger rail act into gear.

  • It all began with the unique Shinkansen system!

  • looks like ice:D...i think its the same...ice is also made by siemens

  • @hansfredmueller ICE 3 is Velaro

  • @tigrius no it's not the ICE3 is made by siemens and bombardier the velaro is only made by siemens it's based on the ice 3 but it isn't the ice3 ifacht the velaro is faster and is the fastest non modified train in the world

  • @hansfredmueller the ICE is a Velaro ;)

  • @DarkDudeForever The ICE is not a Velaro..

Velaro is loosely built after the ICE 3. Please don't get confused..

  • @TrainHDworld The Velaro D runs under the name ICE-3 in Germany (there are other ICE-3 models build by Siemens and Bormandier the Velaro D is a Siemens only project)

  • @Raffix394 I know.... Because Velaro-D will be painted in the ICE 3 type livery..

  • @hansfredmueller The ICE trains wih eception of the Velaro D are made by Siemens and Bombardier. the Velaro is a Siemens only produuct

  • Siemens recent success for selling high speed rail systems directly stems from adopitng to Japanese EMU Shinkansen system.

  • @kokansenhikari: yeah. right. and the transrapid system was invented in china and not in Germany. As if...

  • The only problem is that the video shows the trains zipping by far faster than 350km/h. I've stood near one traveling at 300km/h (and there are many videos) and while it is impressive, the train takes a few seconds to go past. They show it flashing past in less than one second.

It's fast, but not THAT fast.

  • Actually, they can reach 390 km/h as conventional trains.

  • @MikeGinny

100meter length train will take 1.2 sec to pass a point, if traveling at 300km/h.

200meter train will take 2.4 sec.

300meter train will take 3.6 sec.

400meter train will take 4.8 sec. etc.

watch "ktx-ii passing" video for comparison

  • The fastest serial-train on earth.
