@jayquan15ify Some companies are getting closer but few of them showcase their progress. as a new technology (or new use of existing technologies, however you want to look at it), most of it is developed behind the scenes, and until the first company comes out with such a platform, especially a game, others wont show what they are working on. (e.g. only after ipad came out (as the 1st tablet in market, all other companies started showing the tablets they were working on before they were ready)
@methodandsound There are some negative comments because we think this video is a fake, due to the fake gun that you can see in the 1st person mode, instead of the actual gun that the guy is holding, which is almost always in front of the camera.
It would be cool a light weight suit was made for something like that, that could somehow shock you with a small jolt on a particular point where you were hit.
it is not as we don't have the technology now. it's just that if we are making it, it lags a lot. too much calculation. only scanning the area in 3D is not fast.

But the Description Tells me,It's just Game Elements "Strapped on" to the Real world...=(

this is part from israeli television series called "mesudarim" in hebrew "מסודרים"
this is a really great idea if some company make it real but for now this is imaginary game

@jayquan15ify Some companies are getting closer but few of them showcase their progress. as a new technology (or new use of existing technologies, however you want to look at it), most of it is developed behind the scenes, and until the first company comes out with such a platform, especially a game, others wont show what they are working on. (e.g. only after ipad came out (as the 1st tablet in market, all other companies started showing the tablets they were working on before they were ready)

@methodandsound There are some negative comments because we think this video is a fake, due to the fake gun that you can see in the 1st person mode, instead of the actual gun that the guy is holding, which is almost always in front of the camera.
It would be freakin' awesome... if it was true.

There was a game made for the treo(i think ~600 series, around that time) that looked just like this except they used little aliens.
It was basically a camera app but with little aliens scattered around that you had to shoot.

Everyone calling 'fake' hasn't bothered to read the description. It clearly says 'how it WILL look'. It says nothing about it being a real game.
As a mock-up, it's -very- well done. As technology progresses, this gets easier and easier to do. We're almost there.
