We don't have the discipline at all. Hubby does all these fancy budgets with excel spreadsheets and then we NEVER stick to them. So, this month we have started with the Envelope system for our debit expenses. Stuff we would usually just pull out our Debit Card for.... and guess what? We're nearly £600 better off this month! I can't believe that it's made such a huge difference in such a short time. I'm looking forward to seeing how much of a difference this makes over the coming months.
