@Lman94 I think i know ur answer...in this game you dont need to do the underground missions if u dont want, u just keep doing the missions on the surface of the zone and instead of that decoder u drop ur weapon in the locked door and it opens after some tries, but if u do go into the underground more times u will find this "cut scene". Btw sorry for the bad english :P .
@Lman94 You didn't explore enough, you had to take a mission where you would meet the Guide, he would then tell you to meet the Doc at the strelok's hiding place (wich you should know where it is, since it was part of a mission before). When you get there this cut scene is unlocked

Well not entirely... If you finished CS... you see all the clear sky and duty in there... Cause in clear sky I'm at the part when u find Strelok's PDA and the clear sky leader tells u to kill strelok while they take care of fang and ghost, and WHOS GUIDE? I know he's part of strelok's crew, but I don't see him anywhere
after you finished the mission in lab X16, you'll get a mission to find Guide. hes at the place in Cordon where once Fox was. talk to Guide and he will tell you to find Doc. Doc is in the place where strelok's/your stash is. hope this helps you

I played this game a lot and I finish it just twice... I know it has many ends... I'd like to play more but infortunately I don't have time... With this scene I understand everything... However, I thing that this game is maybe the best of its type...
clear sky was so fucking hard i could hardly make it past the guy with the .50 cal machine gun in the army encampment.
after dying dozens of times and then going to the next challenge, and dying dozens of times AGAIN i gave up, i play games for fun not repetitiveness
i assume it would get easier when you get REAL items, like better than a pistol and a leather jacket. i also liked the upgrade system, but still, death + load + death + load + death + load + death + load + death + load man.
You like run behind a tree or some other obstacle, shoot untill you see enemies are cornering you or they shout throwing a grenade at you and run to another obstacle. I was frapsing a gameplay movie on master difficulty and had to learn to do encounters in a single beat ;p. I end up having to add monsters/npcs with an addon so it was not too easy when i had good upgraded gear.
I had the same frustration, but i looked up advice on the net. It's best to save loads of cash early on (do all the quests in the Swamps and Cordon Zone & buy decent armour & weapon & upgrade it. Ideally you want a Bulat suit or Exoskelaton, makes you very tough in firefights, and /or a SEVA suit for protection against the environment. The game is a lot easier & more enjoyable when you're equipped properly.

yes, yes you did. As far as I read, you need to get the decoder, find a secret door at the ending and find the C-consciousness and uncover the real and shocking truth.
Ah, the decoder he is talking about is the one that Fang runs around purchasing components too in Clear Sky, right? Then he puts it together and stashes it at Pripyat...makes sense, sorta.
Strelok knew in STALKER: Clear Sky that something was up with the Monolith and everything (as Doc explained in the video) which was the reason why they went to the NPP in the first place at the end of the Clear Sky. Seems Fang placed it in the Hotel in Prypiat which coincidentally is near his grave in STALKER: SoC (The one were you can find the exo-skeleton suit).
I wish I could be with Streloks gang in STALKER, especially with Fang as it said he talked to a lispe and was a bit nutty. LOL!
By the way, to get this cut-scene. You have to AT LEAST completed Lab X-16. Then you have to find "Guide" in "The Cordon". He usually hangs out near the little hut on the north side of the Bridge where you first found "Fox' at the beginning of the game. Guide directs you to Strelok's cache in Agroprom where you get knocked out and then this scene proceeds. Fight your way through Prypiat after turning off the Brain Scorcher in Lab X-10 to the Hotel, thus where you find the decoder. =)

Clear sky took place before SoC. You are Scar, who is saved after a blowout. The faction Clear Sky saved you. They sence that something is out of whack in the zone causing a huge shit storm that going around. They eventaully find out that Strelok and his friends are trying to break through. They have some sort of PSi device. Scar does some crap they blow up the PSi device cuasing more shit , Military, monolith. The C-Cousince find Strelok mistake him for someone else, they give him kill Strelok

hmm... i will probably pass... i mean... SoC has less features and worse gfx and less zones/areas so... it sounds like a downgrade from clear sky... no offence.
There are mods for the graphics, but if you only judge a game by its looks then I guess you shouldn't try it. About the zones, there is the same amount of zones but some of them are locked in SOC but present in CS and vice versa.
uhm... you should read better... i said features and so on... SoC is like an old more crappy version of CS so... no i wont bouther with it unless they make some "working game" and it will have a cheap price. but anywho... there are zones in SoC there isnt in CS?

Not really. There are whole areas in SoC that are missing in Clear Sky. I don't know why you are reluctant. If you liked Clear Sky you will love Stalker.
Also, you can download the "Oblivion Lost" mod for the original Stalker and pretty much all the bugs are gone plus you get blowouts etc.
In my mind, the original Stalker is better. However, I still play them both, as I think they are both excellent.
I played both and I would definately rate Clear Sky much better then SoC. But that is definately from my perspective, there are some major differences in gameplay between the two. SoC is more a traditional FPS with strong survival/horror inspiration. CS has the more complex open world structure (more strategic in nature) that was nearly comepletely broken on release, but I played it off Steam around x-mas no problems, seems stable now.

Yes i think it was that Strelok faught against Scar(u are Scar in the prequel of SHOC) and got unconciousness(sorry if i spelled wrong) becouse of and blowot i think... :P then the C-conciousness picked him up and set him in the truck and then to Kill strelok
Clear Sky sent Scar to stop Strelok/Marked One for going to the center of the Zone. He succeeded (i think, i havent got to the NPP yet on Clear Sky) and then theres the blowout, and Scar and Strelok/Marked One get unconscious. And then they get brainwashed by the C-Consciousness.
Scar is just some merc you play in clear sky... I like the game and so far Im in the red forest... I think i allmost completed the main questline soon..
I think how it happens is in the beginning of Shadow of Chernobyl the scavenger comes back to his boss and said that this "Marked One" came from the Death Truck.
All a hunch but I think you and everyone else at the end of Clear Sky were picked up to find what value you had and what valuable things you may have had.
just beat this game 30 minutes ago and i dont know what the fuck is goin on. i read it up and it says you have to meet guide and find some decoder. can someone explain what happens when you meet guide and how that pertains to anything. and what about some secret door. 1. There are alot different endings based on your gameplay. For example: if u have over 50000 money when u finish the game at the "wish Granter" then u will get the "I want to be rich" ending. And the Stalker you see in this movie is at the aprogam underground(or what it is called) in streloks hideout.
there is two storylines?First,that classic seven endings (one good,6 bad) and this "FIRST" storyline?I never played this part!HELL GIVE ME BACK MY TIME!
There's 8 endings. 6 bad, 1... Not sure, pretty bad to me and another one very good. You get the 6 depending on your score, money, respect etc. etc. You get them if you head on to the monolith. If you find the secret door you can get another 2 endings. You can either join the C-Counscisness or not. For future refference, don't join it to get the best ending.
from memory (been six monthsish since i played last) after you find ghosts body in x16, he talks of a stalker name guide (i think). If you go and meet him, he'll set up a meet between you and the doc in the stash of streloks in the sewers in agropom, which is still full of bloodsuckers and shit, but you have better guns. (take alot of ammo though because everyone else is still on the AKs and the MP5s)
I see... I had the quest, I didn't notice it until I was almost done with the Brain Scorcher part though. I guess I just decided to go ahead and go to Pripyat
He got the order from C-Conciousness to Strelok kill himself. So when ever you die in the game, you win! :D Well not realy Actually Strelok's destiny is too dark for him to see so he either joins C-C or destroys it.

i got as far as the secret lab...i went in and i eventually saw this massive beast and i got really scared and quit...I am gonna re-try it again tho and this time with better weapons.
U should see this orange blender on the wall and by it is an alley to a ladder, go up and you will see the door, either use the decoder or hax the door with a gauss gun - stand close to the door, then press your drop button (i think it's G) and try to hit the lower hinge, give it a few tries and the door should open up, sneak in and kill the 30 monolith dudes attacking you :P

clear sky was so fucking hard i could hardly make it past the guy with the .50 cal machine gun in the army encampment.
after dying dozens of times and then going to the next challenge, and dying dozens of times AGAIN i gave up, i play games for fun not repetitiveness
i assume it would get easier when you get REAL items, like better than a pistol and a leather jacket. i also liked the upgrade system, but still, death + load + death + load + death + load + death + load + death + load man.

You like run behind a tree or some other obstacle, shoot untill you see enemies are cornering you or they shout throwing a grenade at you and run to another obstacle. I was frapsing a gameplay movie on master difficulty and had to learn to do encounters in a single beat ;p. I end up having to add monsters/npcs with an addon so it was not too easy when i had good upgraded gear.

I had the same frustration, but i looked up advice on the net. It's best to save loads of cash early on (do all the quests in the Swamps and Cordon Zone & buy decent armour & weapon & upgrade it. Ideally you want a Bulat suit or Exoskelaton, makes you very tough in firefights, and /or a SEVA suit for protection against the environment. The game is a lot easier & more enjoyable when you're equipped properly.

BUT! he assassinated fang in pripyat (monolithed), a photograph i forget where shows 2 bandits with 1 merc with a scar on his face, a freedom guy asks strelok to kill crazy merc (he later introduces himself as scar and asks you to kill him)

yes, yes you did. As far as I read, you need to get the decoder, find a secret door at the ending and find the C-consciousness and uncover the real and shocking truth.

Ah, the decoder he is talking about is the one that Fang runs around purchasing components too in Clear Sky, right? Then he puts it together and stashes it at Pripyat...makes sense, sorta.

Strelok knew in STALKER: Clear Sky that something was up with the Monolith and everything (as Doc explained in the video) which was the reason why they went to the NPP in the first place at the end of the Clear Sky. Seems Fang placed it in the Hotel in Prypiat which coincidentally is near his grave in STALKER: SoC (The one were you can find the exo-skeleton suit).
I wish I could be with Streloks gang in STALKER, especially with Fang as it said he talked to a lispe and was a bit nutty. LOL!

By the way, to get this cut-scene. You have to AT LEAST completed Lab X-16. Then you have to find "Guide" in "The Cordon". He usually hangs out near the little hut on the north side of the Bridge where you first found "Fox' at the beginning of the game. Guide directs you to Strelok's cache in Agroprom where you get knocked out and then this scene proceeds. Fight your way through Prypiat after turning off the Brain Scorcher in Lab X-10 to the Hotel, thus where you find the decoder. =)

btw, i have an idea: scar tries to kill strelok (which is you) and fails, but strelok gets amnesia and the gauss gun wipes him out, someone picks him up and puts him in a death truck, and from there we get the baginning of shadow of chernobyl...
btw, all the guys hwo you saw in clear sky ending, they end up in c-conciousness and those hwo do not- they turn to zombies...

Clear sky took place before SoC. You are Scar, who is saved after a blowout. The faction Clear Sky saved you. They sence that something is out of whack in the zone causing a huge shit storm that going around. They eventaully find out that Strelok and his friends are trying to break through. They have some sort of PSi device. Scar does some crap they blow up the PSi device cuasing more shit , Military, monolith. The C-Cousince find Strelok mistake him for someone else, they give him kill Strelok

There are mods for the graphics, but if you only judge a game by its looks then I guess you shouldn't try it. About the zones, there is the same amount of zones but some of them are locked in SOC but present in CS and vice versa.

Not really. There are whole areas in SoC that are missing in Clear Sky. I don't know why you are reluctant. If you liked Clear Sky you will love Stalker.
Also, you can download the "Oblivion Lost" mod for the original Stalker and pretty much all the bugs are gone plus you get blowouts etc.
In my mind, the original Stalker is better. However, I still play them both, as I think they are both excellent.

I played both and I would definately rate Clear Sky much better then SoC. But that is definately from my perspective, there are some major differences in gameplay between the two. SoC is more a traditional FPS with strong survival/horror inspiration. CS has the more complex open world structure (more strategic in nature) that was nearly comepletely broken on release, but I played it off Steam around x-mas no problems, seems stable now.

but this doesn't make much sense then... if u are strelok (the marked one) and you sorta kill urself in CS before you have even played SoC? that doesn't make a hell lot of sense you know? and that also makes it odd with the pda saying kill strelok because he had that one before he entered the zone and he most have known back then that he wasn't strelok. so my guess would be that he isn't strelok becaue that just seems impossible! unless someone here can enlighten me and show me the facts!

Yes i think it was that Strelok faught against Scar(u are Scar in the prequel of SHOC) and got unconciousness(sorry if i spelled wrong) becouse of and blowot i think... :P then the C-conciousness picked him up and set him in the truck and then to Kill strelok

Clear Sky sent Scar to stop Strelok/Marked One for going to the center of the Zone. He succeeded (i think, i havent got to the NPP yet on Clear Sky) and then theres the blowout, and Scar and Strelok/Marked One get unconscious. And then they get brainwashed by the C-Consciousness.

I think how it happens is in the beginning of Shadow of Chernobyl the scavenger comes back to his boss and said that this "Marked One" came from the Death Truck.
All a hunch but I think you and everyone else at the end of Clear Sky were picked up to find what value you had and what valuable things you may have had.
Could be wrong.

just beat this game 30 minutes ago and i dont know what the fuck is goin on. i read it up and it says you have to meet guide and find some decoder. can someone explain what happens when you meet guide and how that pertains to anything. and what about some secret door. 1. There are alot different endings based on your gameplay. For example: if u have over 50000 money when u finish the game at the "wish Granter" then u will get the "I want to be rich" ending. And the Stalker you see in this movie is at the aprogam underground(or what it is called) in streloks hideout.

There's 8 endings. 6 bad, 1... Not sure, pretty bad to me and another one very good. You get the 6 depending on your score, money, respect etc. etc. You get them if you head on to the monolith. If you find the secret door you can get another 2 endings. You can either join the C-Counscisness or not. For future refference, don't join it to get the best ending.

I've knownthe "Untrue" endings for a while, but I'm still trying to make sense of the two "True" endings.
Could someone explain how to get this far into the story, please? I'm not sure what you need to do exactly to find out all of these extra tid-bits.

you have to complete alot of the side quests.
from memory (been six monthsish since i played last) after you find ghosts body in x16, he talks of a stalker name guide (i think). If you go and meet him, he'll set up a meet between you and the doc in the stash of streloks in the sewers in agropom, which is still full of bloodsuckers and shit, but you have better guns. (take alot of ammo though because everyone else is still on the AKs and the MP5s)

He got the order from C-Conciousness to Strelok kill himself. So when ever you die in the game, you win! :D Well not realy Actually Strelok's destiny is too dark for him to see so he either joins C-C or destroys it.

U should see this orange blender on the wall and by it is an alley to a ladder, go up and you will see the door, either use the decoder or hax the door with a gauss gun - stand close to the door, then press your drop button (i think it's G) and try to hit the lower hinge, give it a few tries and the door should open up, sneak in and kill the 30 monolith dudes attacking you :P
