I am just looking at these videos after not having seen this show for like 15 years. This episode of this show was the single most terrifying memory of my early childhood. I had so many nightmares about this episode, and was very scared of the dark for a long time because of it. This episode and the 2-day long episode of power rangers where the green ranger was turning evil or something like that, both of those scared me I think.

@drewskybrun00 YUP. Just decided to look up this when I was bored. Typed in 'kid's show purple gum monster' in google, found out what it was, and then came to youtube. WHY IS THIS A KID'S SHOW!?! I remember the monster being bigger so at least it's less scary. Still scary as fuck though his face plus his pedophile clothes plus his method killing: slowly encasing you in gum and then suffocating you? WTF how slow and painful of a death is that on a kids show?? Fuck you ghost writer!

Look at those digs. The leveled apartment and keyboard are nice. Why can't they make shows like this anymore? Creators of shows like this really had some fantastic intentions. A kids show that teaches children how to understand writing, have morals/social values, and send a positive message about racial equality without being too stereotypical. Amazing.
