Well I disagree with that. It is a well known FACT that left handed people, who are mostly right-brained dominant, are more artistically capable when it comes to drawing. On the other hand, most right handed people are left brained dominant, and therefore less inclined when it comes to drawing--at least, in an 'advanced' level.

Wrong. Dominance doesn't equal competence. It just indicates which side of the brain you use more. There are people who are left-brain dominant whose verbal skills are horrible. There are people who are right-brain dominant whose mathematics are terrible (right-brain being associated with skill in visual reasoning and mathematics).

I understood light and shadow and shaded my drawings at the age of 7 without any instruction, something so uncommon (many people don't get past the line drawing phase even into their adulthood until they are properly taught) that I was accepted into NYAA at age 14. But I wouldn't take myself as an example and generalize that right-handers are the best artists.

Depends on the kind of art, however. Right-brain dominance helps when drawing from observation because people who are left-brain dominant and therefore rely more on cognition tend to want to draw what they see in their minds rather than what they actually see. If you're a cartoonist, however, visual and spatial reasoning skills aren't going to help as much and cognition might actually help in such cases.

Being left-handed means that *you* are probably better at drawing than *you* are at writing or speaking. But it doesn't mean you are going to be better than the average right-hander at drawing. There are studies that have shown that people who have damaged the right side of the brain can't draw well, and those who have damaged the left side can't write or speak well. But again dominance does not equal competence. A right-handed person can easily use their right-brain better than a left hander.
