I know it is traditional for the bunga terung to have 2, and for them to be positioned on the FRONT of the shoulder. So, would it be wrong / offensive to just receive 1, or to position them on the SIDE of the shoulder?
@North321 thanks :-) i've noticed that since i've been looking on google mainly, but my uncles came to visit and brought some of the wood blocks with them :D so now ive got to see some Kenyah tattoos from the village
some of the germanic and celtic tribes must have ancient descent from the pacfific groups because before being romanised they were all decribed as heavily tatooed.
my late grandfather had this 'bejalai' tattoos all over his body...i loved his tattoos but the sad part was i hadn't asked him bout his tattoos and after his death i discovered that was 'bejalai'...
awe my that was mysterious like for you , sad but now i think you should continue the design, go ahead and get some bejalai , for your love one, ok take care my friend, its asalistics from philippines
my late grandparents(mother's side)& their relative (all frm ulu kapit) had their body tattoed.
my bro-in-law(wife's 2 brothers) hd their body tattoed too,one of them tattoing as part time/hobby. look photos in his friendster profile - justine jaxmoel
I love our tattos heritage, esp iban tattos and really wish to get it from Simon(my ex collegemate) but "they" are going to make a freaking royal issue. I was living in Manila and the Pinoy seem to love the Alibata tattos of their borneo heritage.. a symbol of pre "Spanish civilization". Proud of you Simon and Eddie. Sayang Sarawak!
In Kalinga tattoos is the equivalent of a "medal of Valor Awardee"... headhunting.. since my childhood i want to document this things but i have no video camera to do it...i will only watch as this culture vanishes...i am happy i have found people who the same practices the way the kalingas
i like that type of thing with hand tapping tattoos im 18 n want to get hand tappped tattoos by an asian professional if theres anybody tattooist expert in hand tapping tattoos let me kno i have a myspace
I really want to go to visir Borneo! There are so many interesting cultures, and many fascinating wild animals! Im only 14, though, so it may be a while before i get to go...

I'm proud to Iban.
I'm proud to declare that I'm Dayak in front of my fellow Malaysian...
Sadly, I do madly wanted to adore myself with Tattoos, unfortunately, my Parent forbade me from doing so!... :(
