@rollbruce My thoughts. Most panels are designed to be connected in series, which means, they should be able to handle more amps than they are designed to put out, I think.
@rollbruce If you are worried about one panel overpowering the other you could put in a fuse to help. Most panels, inside the j box, have 3 by-pass diodes. This helps keep one panel from damaging another.
my solar panels are differnt amps though i herd that it will hurt my lower amp panel
