Great review! I was there in February of 09 and was blown away! Great place to stay and Cuba rates the top for all vacation destinations that I have been to.
if you get the HG10, the quality is great but working with AVCHD (the movie file format it produces) is very tough. Be sure to convert it into WMV, AVI or .MOV before you start doing serious editing. I myself bought a Matrox card for $1k which converts the file without loosing quality.
Considering this resort for our honeymoon so the video was very helpful, also some good general advice, thanks!
