12 Girls Band plays one of Japan's most loved Christmas songs - "Christmas Eve" by Tatsuro Yamashita, which first was produced in 1983. 12 Girls Band are very popular in Japan, and indeed around the world, because they will play songs that the audience idenitifies with, but in their unique style.

@101negima There's also a tiny bit of The Beatles' While my Guitar Gently Wheeps to start the chorus. It was bugging me so much because I couldn't figure it out, I heard the Canon in D but I couldn't figure out why the beginning of the chorus sounded so familiar.

There used to be only 12, but in 2003 they added 1 more person. They just kept the bands name... like most bands do despite the changes of a bands members. :P

In a typical performance there are 2 GuZheng and 4 ErHu. In this one there are 1 GuZheng and 5 ErHu. One of them switched!?

I am sure all of the girls can play multiple kinds of instruments. Great cross training!
