I like how Augustus only went to the body when after the head holding incident. That was classy. He knew something was wrong and didnt want to hurt oliveira.

i remember reading about it that it was pinched nerve or something? i'm pretty sure it was nothing too serious. obviously painful enough at the time though.

after looking him up, oliveria had a pretty good career. a little sad to have it end this way, but at least it was nothing too serious.  of course, augustus would've done the same to any opponent regardless of how young/old, green/experienced they were. true class

What class, incredible. He looked at the ref, confused that they let him continue. He kept giving the ref opportunities to stop it, let Oliveira punch him in the corner, and not throw a single head shot.

Emanuel Augustus is a class act. Once he saw that Olivera was hurt like that, he wouldn't throw another head shot. He even let Olivera pile up on him and pound away in the corner. Ray Olivera was one of my favorites back in the 90's. I think he got a pinched nerve in his neck in this fight. Emanuel Augustus is a true champion in my book.
