  • At 1:18, it begins playing Sakura Sakura. I may have been the only one who sang along...

  • Irritating music, bad lighting, weak camera work and just not as good as other youtubers.

  • @farlcoon Gay comment!..Retarded name..Dont know why you commented!..Go comment on something you like!!

  • Comment removed

  • @farlcoon Hahaha!..Lol, I was only joking!..:)

  • love the video!! thankyou sooo much!!! subscribed!!

  • if anyone wants to know where to get origami paper go ta a craft place called michles or something like that so ya

  • Ok the bird and the flute is probably why this video got so many dislikes, but I love this flower x3!

  • "Fluff it out" :D

  • shut the bird up

  • Your video is awesome!

  • I love your tutorials. They're easy to follow and simple. Will you please show how to make a cherry blossom? Thank you! :)

  • Way too fast.

  • Dear Lisa, great video. I made the Lily quite easily, right after the Buterfly. you are a great teacher. Thank you. Louise :)

  • I liked the video and the recorder playing! The Sakura Sakura melody is one of my favorites =)

  • love your voice :D

  • Yay i did it :D

  • oh my gosh, i did it!!

  • ha ha is someone playing a flutophone?

  • I have a school project to do and it involves making anything to do with origami so i decided a flower! What paper do you need for this??? thanks!!

  • @Grylls4Ever I just keep reading and cant stop laughing :))

  • Perfect, finished at first try. :)

  • wow its really hard to see what you doing with this colerful paper use other papers that we will able to see

  • Just made a bouquet of flowers! Thanks so much!

  • I managed successfully complete it, but it would have been easier if the vid had better lighting and if the camera was angled from your point of view. Thanks for the instruction, though!

  • I did okay for a beginner. Thanks so much! <3

  • @BFLYNANYWEATHER Put the volume up, and check the slower version of this.

  • while I'm trying to reproduce this, I'm figuring it might help a lot if you rotated your videos 180 ° before uploading them. Would like a "first person folder" :D

  • In the end product where to the points coming up from the middle come from? I can't seem to figure out where those are in yours... Your help would be greatly appreciated thanks, I really want to impress this girl I like...

  • i did it sorta, my petals are long and pointed

  • Your voice is soothing and I kind of enjoy the birds...but please ask junior to blow his recorder in another room! In many of your other videos, you are competing with music which should be backround only, but overpowers. I find the excessively loud music to be a problem with many YouTube tutorials...it should be barely audible. My kids and I have had fun with origami thanks to your vids though, so thank you!

  • yehhhhhhhhhhhh took me 4 attempts ^^

  • I did it! Very good instruction!

  • I'm so proud of myself, it took me almost all of last night and all of this morning (at the time I wrote this) to do it but I kept at it and I finally did it. :)

  • I made the eagle, and now I'm doing this, and the eagle was the first one I made.

  • I ever made, I meant.

  • Here's a challange: try making the iris while listening and singing Artic Soneta's "Letter to Dana" - it's nearly impossible

  • @anonimen31 sorry it's soneta arctica's Letter to Dana

  • Turn the volume up. It's not that hard.

  • i cant do it, bleh

  • @bebeXsunshine Remember to start with easier shapes first! This is one of the harder beginner shapes. Start with the cup and dove, and work your way up to this!

  • wow! i did it!it's so beautiful...now i can decorate my whole class!!!thanks!

  • me encanta este video, yo no sabia como se hacia esta flor esta hermosa para adornar regalos, no? te felicito. Aunque me perdi en una parte y estuve a punto de tirar todo por la ventana...

  • love the accent!!!!

  • great job !

    thanks for the video ^^

  • anoyingly hard but it realy pays off......

  • great demo but you go way too fast for most beginners to follow, and alittle better explanation on where you fold would be nice i got lost because you didnt say where fold so many times

  • I do have a super slow video of the flower too, you can use that one if you need the slower version.

  • @lisasheaorigami WHERE is it?

  • Instead of using a pipecleaner for the stem, use a green straw or something, much easier.

  • It definitely takes practice - start with the easier patterns! Work your way up to this one :)

  • hey, relly nice of you to comment back on your video! can you please give me an example of an easier pattern? :P

  • Yes start with the cup and the dove, those are starter shapes.

  • Nice video but that recorder player sounds like they are dying. the video would be much better without that annoying, crappy recorder player!

  • The new DVD version has professional music - when I made this video that recorder was all I had :)

  • Sweet great job

  • I totally got lost and threw my half-ass flower at the wall. Ehh...

  • this is sooooo cool he should be great at floding origami

  • oh God...what have I done?

  • nice video. where can i buy the soundtrack lol

  • you just made my day with that! lmao!

  • Noooo! I'm losing it at 5:10 ! *still trying...*

  • Pfew...Finally got it right...Thank you very very very much!

  • -sits at desk for an hour with paper-

YES I've done it >D thakies for the tutorial ^-^

  • good

  • wow! thanks!....:)

  • whats with that flute?!

  • i believe it is a recorder.

  • blueberyice is exactly right! It's a recorder! Also there are some parakeets too. On the DVD version I finally got a hold of real music but back when I initially did this for YouTube that's all I had access to.

  • its a bird!!

  • This video was so easy for me to follow, thank you for posting :) and really nice job!

  • This is really helpful; the way you explain things helps me understand exactly what you are doing with the paper, and I was able to follow along and make my own. Thank you! :)

  • thats why you press Pause and go over what you need to see again >.>

  • I love you :X

  • i love it, it realy helped mie pretty good job but i hate that damn flaute thoug

  • almost same instructions in making a crane swan at the beginning

  • amazing

  • 1:03 thats what she said

  • Then rewind it and watch it again you spoiled slowpoke. (Brat)

  • thanks Lisa i subscribed to you I know how to make a modular pinwheel with out the stars. I will but it on Youtube.

  • Lisa, this is a great video. Managed to follow it and do it right first time!

Must add that you have really nice hands!

  • creep

  • Hey, I say it as I see it! As a person with horrible stubby sausage fingers, I can appreciate the fact that she has very elegant hands.

Nothing wrong with passing on a compliment is there?

    :)

  • Lisa I'm such a big fun of yours. Your game tips concerning GTA Vice City back in the day where extremely useful!

  • mine came out with only 3 petals and 3 little triangles inside....

  • You forgot a fold then

  • Good job, it's hard to follow at times, but I finally did it. The flower looks great. Thank you.

  • move your hands so people can actually see what you are doing next time plese

  • if you dont get this just watch the one in slow motion it is very helpfull :]

  • thank you so much! i've been trying to figure this flower out for weeks now and i finally got it with your help. your video is so nice and clear.

    thanks!

i am making a bouquet of these for mother's day.

  • Lisa we love you

  • Lindaaaaaaaaaaaa

    Obrigada

  • Lisa, you've gotten me into Origami! I much prefer this video to your others which have classical music backrounds; to me, your voice competes with the music in many of them. I say this because I use certain videos for relaxation, as well as the Origami instructions and skills, and your voice is quite soothing! Thank you Lisa!

  • dude awsome vid 5 stars and sub

  • Your voice is very pleasant to listen too;-)

  • That´s great!

Much more better than these stupid photo instructions!

  • thank you that really helped me :)

  • omg somay steps I need a lot of practice lolz ...

    so confused φ.φ

  • Lisa,

Last night my girlfriend had her classical bass recital.

I made a bouquet of these flowers out of sheet music.

    It was a hit!!

  • I DID IT WRONG!!! *crys in the corner* im gonna try it again :D

  • I tried to work out how to make a lily form a book but got stuck in the middle. This instructive video was so helpful, thankyou^^

  • i made one of these at school today and it was so hard!! lol i kept getting confused, you make this look so easy :)

  • i know how to make a bunny a bat but this is wonderful :D *subs*

  • you have a very entranceing voice

  • :D my name is lily :D

  • its like making a dragon in the beginning

  • Yes many origami shapes start out with similar folds! So once you learn one, the others become even easier.

  • well there is a slower version its Origami Flower Folding Instructions SLOW VERSION

  • Yes exactly, this is the quicker version for people who already know origami, but there is also a slower version for new people.

  • Thank you for the origami videos. Origami is beautiful and elegant and you teach very well.

  • Pause havent U Hear To Pause DURR

  • highfives* i don't know why people thumbs downed you

  • I really enjoyed this. My first!

  • very nice but a little difficult for me

  • There's a slower version - give that version a try!

  • where do you get these origami papers?

  • you can usually get them at any craft store

  • the one mine i made looks different

    but yours is beutiful!

  • Thank you for this tutorial! :)

  • THAT IS SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL

  • "OH BOB SAGET!" -Touretts guy

  • loads of thanks lisa!!^^

    nice origami,nice voice,nice flute!!

  • flute xd its nice

  • i still can't figure out how to fold it into a triangle that you show 3 times from about 2:12-3:40 can you please respond!! i like the song in the back round by the way, haha it's very soothing and when i start to gte frustrated with the paper it calms me down a bit

  • thank you very much!!! it so easy to do it!!!!

  • ._. is that a go board and scrabble pieces? xD

  • Thanks Lisa,

It took me 3 tries to make this. For anyone having difficulty I would suggest stopping and trying again later in order to avoid becoming frustrated.

  • Also remember this is the short version - go to my 10 minute long version if you need more details!

  • loved it.. maked 1 wille watching

  • Thank you!!

  • Oh kewl. I haven't tried it yet but I probably will. I like your instructions by the way. You're so easy to understand! Haha.

  • the recorder in the backgrounds really distracting

  • When I redid these for the DVD version I found copyright-free soundtracks, so I used those instead :) When I made this version I didn't have access to those, so you're stuck with me playing the recorder! That's a traditional Japanese song you're hearing.

  • how come my flower looks so ugly

  • Origami takes practice! The first time you ride a bike you fall down, the first time you fold a complex shape it's a bit off. Keep practicing and you'll get better!

  • a bitttttttttttttttttcvcch

  • You do realize this is the quick version and that there is a full 10 minute long version for people new to origami, right? :)

  • Thanks. I Might use this for halloween :P

  • you explain very well. And all my origami turns out good. Thank-you

  • Keep up the great work(:

  • omigosh, thanks so much!!! I tried doing the rose, but that was too hard so your lily was perfect :)

  • The rose was hard, but it came out after a whole week! It was easier when I found out the paper clip tip ;)

  • WAT TIP!!!! lol ther is a tip wat is it plz i have tried and failed like twice tryin to make the rose

  • heres a tip go to an easier one!!!!!!!!!!

  • i can make that in a different way

  • For people who find this one too quick, remember there is a full 10 minute long video that goes much more slowly :)

  • what kind of paper do i need for origami making?

  • origami paper, its a plan square

you can buy it at art crafts stores

or go to a Borders(or other book store) and the paper comes with the how to starter booklet

  • omg i luv this its so easy to follow and helps a lot ^^

  • i didnt get the square thing at the being

  • Thank you so much, I couldn't find a diagram I could understand for this and your video helped a lot.

Your voice put me to sleep at some points which is a good thing because I'm sick and I need rest.

Keep it up, your doing great.

  • What is funny is that tons of people tell me my voice is really soothing and relaxing and that I should do meditation videos. I suppose we all have different vocal styles we are drawn to!

  • I understand why someone would say your voice is annoying.

    It's different with an accent.

BUT I already know how to make the lily.

So the only reason I'm watching this video is because of your voice ^.^

I love listening to instructions from nice voices.

I'm not even watching the video(seen it before).

Keep up the good work :)

  • thanks lisa my lily tuned out great! x

  • interesting. the way I do it is alot more tedious in where I make all the creases then starting making the flower.

the way you did it is much simpler and I can see how it would be much easier to align the folds.

  • I hear a bird in the background, and who was that playing Japanese music with a recorder?

  • wow, that is amazing,

    i love it thanks!

keep up the good work lisa

  • That's why there is a *slow* version online too, for people who are just starting out! If you're a newbie, use the slow version!

  • aureusalioqui I totally know what you mean!! Lisa you are mint! Chilling out to some origami.

  • thanks again lisa very easy to make except at one point when you where folding the parts into the centre line i wasnt sure which way to do it like to the closed end or open end but overall it helped me alot again thanks :)

  • Don't forget there is also a super slow version of this instruction posted here, for people who are just learning it!

  • Ha Ha, I was thinking the exact same thing when i heard this for the first time.

  • LOL I do have meditation videos up but they are just music only. I should do some poetry readings and post them :)

  • if you use bigger paper it becomes a box

  • can u plzz plzzzzzzzzz show how to make a rose? coz none of the videos helped me!! PLEASEE !!

  • I do have long stemmed rose instructions online! Just click on my name and it should show all the videos I have posted. Enjoy!

  • that's i thought i'd never beable to make a lily

  • I QUIT!!

  • don't quit! The flower is a hard shape. Start with the cup and other simpler shapes. Get some practice. Then use my SLOW VERSION of the flower instructions and work with those!

  • Wow. That was so awesome. You made a complicated thing (to me at least) into such an easy process. =D I love it. Keep it up beacause I'm subscribing to you. xD

  • That was reli reli helpfull...thank you so much ^_^

  • ALERT!! There is now a SLOW VERSION of these origami flower instructions. If you have trouble with this set, click on my name to see the 10 minute VERY SLOW version that gives much more detail about each fold. Enjoy!

  • this is sooooooooooo cool this is possibly the easiest way to make an origami flower

  • thats impossible lady

  • maybe it's just you who cant do it cos i did it perfectly capably

  • That took forever for me to make(x

    I did it!

    Thanks for posting it up!:D

  • That was great but the background sounds were annoying, lol.
