@RoboticusMusic I figured it out! thought I was going mad! the patch had an LFO with high rate> modulating an envelope>modulating a filter. the gate of the filter closing caused audible clicks due to a short release.when combined with oscillator 2 which had a similar patch arrangement via the its envelope the problem became magnified... when a delay was added it got at of hand..so much for spontaneity.theres some interesting bits in there though...
