well..don't forget either that the screen resolution used here is 1680x1050..on my standard 'HD' 24'', 1920x1080 (not the real old times 24'' 1900x1200 either..)..the texture details are MUCH better : i noticed that myself when switching between the resolutions available (everything possible below and up to 1920x1080) ; very weirdly in that game, it seems the lower resolutions have a much less detailed textures..at 1920+, seems we have the best texture pack. i prefer it to DA2 then (dx9)..weird

@TheErikus First time i played i thought the same, after playing mass effect 2 Dragon age looked to me kind of..outdated.I sold the game (on xbox 360 graphics are worst and gameplay not good at all, It´s a pc game), But because of The sequel coming i decided to give it a new try. Once i got used to the medium graphics,It´s great characters, amazing storytelling, and incredible world they created made had an awesome experience. This hierarchy chart is divided in classes and also contains quite old video-chips. There is a logic of sorts though. First digit denotes the generation of chips. SECOND digit denotes the performance ambition. Where 8 is typically full power gaming card. Less than 6 is not considered gaming graphics.

@CoffeIsntMyCupOfTea Unfortunately not at all. GF8400 is a rather weak graphics. For both nVidia and AMD/ATI 4-digit series, you needed the second digit to be at least 6 for adequate gaming. This applies to desktop cards only. (Laptop graphics have overrated numbers). If you can still find it, HD4670 is quite cheap and make do with stock PSUs. 4.4GHz is the CPU? Sounds like something old, OC'ed and slow in that case. Pentium4? Well, it works but DA prefers more modern CPUs and more cores.

Well it runs at 1600x900 at very high with +30fps, but disabling AA makes it run that smooth, its ok at 2xaa, but places like denerim at 4xaa are not good with those settings, otherwise, game runs great!

@knightstale0 uhm no you can't play this on line :) i have MW2 and Dragon Age and I prefer playing Dragon Age :D am not saying dragon age is better than MW2 coz they're different games. Dragon Age is RPG and MW2 is more of FPS :)
