  • This > Skyrim

  • @SlapHappyJesus lol no but it will be a great game from the look of it, its what fable 3 should have been

  • @adamanthyz1 Opinion, really. To me, this has everything I look for in an rpg - fun combat, a great world, (seemingly) a good story, deep character progression, lot's of choice. Skyrim, as far as I see things, only had one of those things to any satisfactory degree - the world. I felt that it was a great, but ultimately shallow world. This game seems to have everything covered rather nicely.

  • @SlapHappyJesus wait what? while skyrims main story wasn't breathtakingly long and complex its world was completely full of content, just travel at random and you will never have a point where theres nothing at all to do and pretty much every single quest has choice and you have 100s perks and items such to choose from (though not much magic wise) I dont see how you could have been disappointed by skyrim, best rpg since baldurs gate 2 imo

  • @adamanthyz1 Eh. Most of the perks are just replacing what was taken away due to the perk tree in the first place. There is no choice in the guilds, being that the quest lines are entirely linear. The game was more of a "create your own adventure", being that most of the content was lacking. I don't really feel the game offers anything in terms ofchoice, outside of which of the three "class" archetypes you chose to use, and that is only in terms of combat.

  • @adamanthyz1 Actually, Skyrim wasn't the deep game you might think it was. There was an extremely limited item selection compared to games like Diablo 2, and the story for the most part was actually pretty bland. The game had more bugs than this demo, and all you do is kill things and loot them, with the exception of guilds which are typical Elder Scrolls fare and a few extra shallow questlines. I loved Skyrim, but not because it was deep. It wasn't. It was fun. Big deal. So is this game.
