I wonder who the next big enemy would be after cata, there isn't really that much "ancient evils" left except the old gods and sargaras, but I suppose if any of those guys make an appearance there won't be any Azeroth left intact.

Nah, in Tauren belief, An'She is merely the Earthmother's eye if I recall, Elune(who they recognise) being its parter, the second eye....although I also recall something about the Earthmother blinding herself due to corruption of her 'progeny' by the Old Gods(whispers...it always means those damn H.P. Lovecraft-based omniscient/omnipresent diety bitches)...so you have to check it up. I'm practically just saying An'She, the sun god, is not at the same level as the Earthmother according to Tauren

he has SHOWN 27 million HP, doesn't mean that is anything near his maximum, he needn't have shown more as of yet...isn't Alexstrasza's HP 160 or something? Doesn't make her the strongest being in Azeroth, else she would but Destroy the Lich King in Northerend and save alot of trouble. Deathwing was about as strong as her(the two strongest Aspects) by the end of DotD, but supposedly his power has increased tenfold, being suffused with the Old Gods.....so, technically, his HP should be 1.6 Billion
But we all know thats not happening....he is possibly stronger than the Lich King now, but i've always thought of the Lord of Death as the single most powerful individual in Azeroth and possibly the Warcraft universe/multiverse(yes, even stronger than the Titans, though not Sargeras, if he yet lives). But all this will be answered fairly soon. :D
tbh taurens are the onli race on the horde side(aside from belfs) that even comes close to fitting the idea of being a pally, but even then its a bit ridiculous.

Some of the things blizzard does to attract new players astonishes me. I havent played wow since inception, I joined with BC. In the short few years I have played, every new step blizzard has done to allegedly improve gameplay has done nothing more that make the game easier for new players while punishing those who have been longtime supporters.
I may be premature but a lot of the changes "appear" attractive - but knowing blizzard as i have come to know them; i wonder. How will the longtime supporters be kicked in the nads this time.
I would just be happy .. for now.. if blizzard fixed the major things wrong in the game as it is now... the cap on instances where you have people waiting in line to run an instance is VERY annoying - for one
There are many mobs that are bugged and when you report the bugs you are told, nope, that's the way they are supposed to work. Sorry, LOS means if i can see you I can huit you.. not We cant see each other yet you can still hit me through a door ( The ToC 3 boss bug), and many others.
Don't get me wrong, i love WoW, just please, before you start developing additions which may introduce even more major bugs, please, at least get a line of control on the major ones you have now.
And stop calling DK's a hero class.. they are just a regular class that you ghet to start at a higher level, nothing heroic about DKs, every competing class can out do a dk .. some hero :)
so making them less powerful than all the other tank classes and calling them hero class makes perfect sense to you? l2think back :) A hero is someone who performs heroic feats, which dk's do not, so just loose the hero class title and even the class out with other tanking classes.
speaking of which, what tanking class gets a 200% health boost by swapping to tanking presence? nope, not dk's... druids
DKs get a health boost.. and ive seen some pretty awesome freaking DK tanks.. and ive never seen a DK lose aggro.. yet i see druids pallies warriors losing aggor to my damn undergeared rogue whos like 3 levels lower then the tank.. so idk what your talking about..
and besides who the fuck cares if they arent the best at tanking.. thats not all they do?
I seen DK's loose aggro a LOT, I have yet to see a similarly geared other classes have aggro problems. Maybe you arent playng with quality tanks or 5-8k dps's? and yea, dk's get a SMALL health boost in frost presence, amounts to 1-3k health, unlike druids that go from 16k health to 40k health by swapping to tanking.
And i never once in any of my above posts, said that they should be the best at tanking, but when non-"heroic" classes can ALL out tank them, then why call them "heroic"?

you cant have tauren paladins because tauren arent holy. not to mention the fact only tauren and night elves should be druids because they are spiritual. Gnome priests make sense human hunters all right. but come on Tauren Paladins...where does it all fit in?
Dwarf shamans ... WHAT THE FUUUU---- Dwarfs have NO ancestral connection what so ever, all they care about is treasure and booze, their classes have been hunter, warrior, priest, paladin and rogue, and you know what those FIT!
The 'new' Azeroth is not instanced, and lowbies must deal with changes immediately.

I believe there's some sort of achievement at level 80 so if you have an old char, you can see Azeroth transformed but when you're leveling you're in the old Azeroth or something.

Good reason outland & azeroth had different gameplay, to separate lowbies from higher ones...including flight as example. They did same with Wotlk to limit people until they've earned it.
Instanced Azeroth will be just weird, but it'll definately keep certain things in check.
This expansion looks very nice, but sadly, the worges are with the alliance... This will be awesome to play, but Tauren Paladin is kinda ridicoulas, they should've done Tauren Rogue instead. xD But looks cool, can't wait, and all those things you say... Anyone knows when this is coming out? :)

I honestly think this is great. Wotlk sucks ass and is the worst wow yet imo. The prieview looks amazing and I love the idea of azzeroth again! . It seems like an amazing idea sept worgen are alliance : / They seem evil like a horde race. I just might go ally to play them tho. I hope this is a good one!

WoW was getting boring just because you need a bunch of people to be powerful, for example in guildwars, you can take on alot of enemies on your own because the classes are really pwerful and combined, in wow you need people to be strong, and sometimes it can get really lonely when you're not raiding, I think wow is changing in the measure that the other rpgs are accurate in adding good things...why make a whole new game when you can just make the existing alot better?

Cataclysm is not wow.....wow is dead this crap is only a new game a "reset"....it will destroy everything that was done pre BC and completely changes the game....in fact the oldest players will be nothing more to the game then new noobs......

he has SHOWN 27 million HP, doesn't mean that is anything near his maximum, he needn't have shown more as of yet...isn't Alexstrasza's HP 160 or something? Doesn't make her the strongest being in Azeroth, else she would but Destroy the Lich King in Northerend and save alot of trouble. Deathwing was about as strong as her(the two strongest Aspects) by the end of DotD, but supposedly his power has increased tenfold, being suffused with the Old Gods.....so, technically, his HP should be 1.6 Billion

But we all know thats not happening....he is possibly stronger than the Lich King now, but i've always thought of the Lord of Death as the single most powerful individual in Azeroth and possibly the Warcraft universe/multiverse(yes, even stronger than the Titans, though not Sargeras, if he yet lives). Some of the things blizzard does to attract new players astonishes me. I havent played wow since inception, I joined with BC. In the short few years I have played, every new step blizzard has done to allegedly improve gameplay has done nothing more that make the game easier for new players while punishing those who have been longtime supporters.

I would just be happy .. for now.. if blizzard fixed the major things wrong in the game as it is now... the cap on instances where you have people waiting in line to run an instance is VERY annoying - for one
There are many mobs that are bugged and when you report the bugs you are told, nope, that's the way they are supposed to work. Sorry, LOS means if i can see you I can huit you.. not We cant see each other yet you can still hit me through a door ( The ToC 3 boss bug), and many others.

Don't get me wrong, i love WoW, just please, before you start developing additions which may introduce even more major bugs, please, at least get a line of control on the major ones you have now.
And stop calling DK's a hero class.. they are just a regular class that you ghet to start at a higher level, nothing heroic about DKs, every competing class can out do a dk .. some hero :)

so making them less powerful than all the other tank classes and calling them hero class makes perfect sense to you? l2think back :) A hero is someone who performs heroic feats, which dk's do not, so just loose the hero class title and even the class out with other tanking classes.
speaking of which, what tanking class gets a 200% health boost by swapping to tanking presence? nope, not dk's... druids

DKs get a health boost.. and ive seen some pretty awesome freaking DK tanks.. and ive never seen a DK lose aggro.. yet i see druids pallies warriors losing aggor to my damn undergeared rogue whos like 3 levels lower then the tank.. so idk what your talking about..
and besides who the fuck cares if they arent the best at tanking.. thats not all they do?

I seen DK's loose aggro a LOT, I have yet to see a similarly geared other classes have aggro problems. Maybe you arent playng with quality tanks or 5-8k dps's? and yea, dk's get a SMALL health boost in frost presence, amounts to 1-3k health, unlike druids that go from 16k health to 40k health by swapping to tanking.
And i never once in any of my above posts, said that they should be the best at tanking, but when non-"heroic" classes can ALL out tank them, then why call them "heroic"?

you cant have tauren paladins because tauren arent holy. not to mention the fact only tauren and night elves should be druids because they are spiritual. Gnome priests make sense human hunters all right. but come on Tauren Paladins...where does it all fit in?

The 'new' Azeroth is not instanced, and lowbies must deal with changes immediately.
When this release, Classic WoW dies.
From FAQ:
Q: Will I need the expansion to be able to experience the Cataclysm changes?
A: When the Cataclysm occurs, it will occur for all players, whether they have purchased the expansion or not--you will no longer be to play in the original version of Kalimdor or the Eastern Kingdoms.

I believe there's some sort of achievement at level 80 so if you have an old char, you can see Azeroth transformed but when you're leveling you're in the old Azeroth or something.
I can't picture a more decent explanation than this for now.

It's what I'm hoping, but I didn't see it on their site so it worries me a bit.
Good reason outland & azeroth had different gameplay, to separate lowbies from higher ones...including flight as example. They did same with Wotlk to limit people until they've earned it.
Instanced Azeroth will be just weird, but it'll definately keep certain things in check.

This expansion looks very nice, but sadly, the worges are with the alliance... This will be awesome to play, but Tauren Paladin is kinda ridicoulas, they should've done Tauren Rogue instead. xD But looks cool, can't wait, and all those things you say... Anyone knows when this is coming out? :)

I honestly think this is great. Wotlk sucks ass and is the worst wow yet imo. The prieview looks amazing and I love the idea of azzeroth again! . It seems like an amazing idea sept worgen are alliance : / They seem evil like a horde race. I just might go ally to play them tho. I hope this is a good one!

You fall in pits regardless if you bought, changes are to be made over course..phased like with WotLK.
You'll see place changing until release, then it sets in.

As nice it sound I'll have to agree with a few people too though, this expansion can EASILY be the end of WoW.
Predicted problems (Cause/Effect):
C. Fly mounts in Classic.
E. Worse farming, camping, and harassments (newb camps, killing low mobs, etc).
C. Expanded class/race system.
E. More dozen patches of trying to fix overpowered class/race (ex tauren pally).
C. New races.
E. Goblins for Horde is unfare compare Alliance just get wolves. Who is replacing once neutral race (SWC)?

WoW was getting boring just because you need a bunch of people to be powerful, for example in guildwars, you can take on alot of enemies on your own because the classes are really pwerful and combined, in wow you need people to be strong, and sometimes it can get really lonely when you're not raiding, I think wow is changing in the measure that the other rpgs are accurate in adding good things...why make a whole new game when you can just make the existing alot better?
