  • how did you do side by side video?

  • did u made this split screen on iMovie ? if yes plz how

  • Hey did you do the side by side in iMovie? If so can you please tell me how to do it?

    Thanks

  • andy, does the imovie stabilization feature require 2 passes?

  • please, how to edit side by side

  • can you set it to "auto" detect the needed stabilization?

I assume that using a wide angle adaptor should compensate for the cropping.

  • how did you play those side by side?

  • wow. that really works well. i wish i could apply that to all my old home movies. maybe someday.

  • But the REAL question is how did the image stabilization take 1 second off the length of the original movie at 1:52?

  • dude, the video's only 1:51 thats not even possible

  • woah! I sooo didnt see that one coming, totally caught me by surprise. the ending was crazy, but great. loved every minute of it.

  • Finally, someone posts some real-world video clips with and without the IS. Awesome video. Thanks, Andy!

Oh, and this video pushed me over the edge to buy iLife '09. ;-)

  • Awesome demo ... yet again another reason to get a Mac!

  • @pastorpainter exactlyyyyyyyyyyy!

  • Great work Andy, love the side by side!

  • WOW!! Really works well, and as a post script, I am inspired to grow a set of lamb chops of my own, thank you Mr Inhatko

  • Cool demo. Thanks!

  • Andy, you work so hard to give us well-researched reviews - I think I will have to buy someone iPhone Fully Loaded as a gift, just to support you.

Is there a better way to support you?

  • Good video - useful

  • Hey that was a great video. Thanks.

  • Great comparison video and commentary Andy! Now if we can only get your views on the current climate of comic books, myself and others, I imagine, would be 5x5 :D!

  • Now I need to start shooting everything handheld just so I have an excuse to use this great tool!

  • I'm REALLY impressed that the iMovie didn't fall for the tricks you threw at it. Excellent job, Andy!

  • you did this with final cut?

  • Yup...the original videos were assembled in iMovie, but the side-by-side was assembled in Final Cut (I just exported the two versions as QuickTime).

  • very cool

  • @ihnatko can you please tell if its posible to get a side by side video with I movie...

    thanks....

  • @aanheid No. you can only do this in final cut or Premier Pro

  • @aanheid It is possible, just drag a clip on top of another one and choose "in pararell" or "side by side"

  • That's impressive. Thanks for the side-by-side.

  • It puts a great professional-finishing touch on things.

  • Excellent demo. I'm really looking forward to getting the new iLife. Thanks for the side-by-side, it really showed off how well it works.

  • Nice to see a good comparison. Thanks!!
