while i have more respect for Joe Hockey then most other Liberals i've known, i am still not completely convinced...no offence but i'd still have social justice even if it means being in a little bit of debt...
i mean the Liberals say that it's a lot but my income has gone up not down since Labor came into power so i see no reason to change.
The Labor side of Parliament is empty! Where the hell are the Labor MP's? Those rude, lazy bastards aren't present and we PAY THEM THEIR SALARIES! What a disgraceful act by the Labor Party. I am disgusted!! Why has this not been reported in the media????
*raises hand* I voted Labor at the time because I thought they were going to do good things like roll back WorkChoices I was too young to know what a Budget Deficit meant. But I like Joe Hockey, and considering that I didn't get a cent of that cash splash the Labor government dished out anyway, and considering I lost my faith in the Greens when I heard that Peter Garrett was a former greenie, I probably will change votes. With Budget in surplus, government could do more for unemployment/pension
4) Liberals come in, improve the economy. (Costello had debt at 0-0.5% of GDP)
5) Labour comes back in- through unsubstantiated promises - go way over budget, increase debt and the cycle continues - this is what has happened for years!!! - study the past to predict the future.
Labour is bad news
- a vote for greens - is a vote for labour as they do not hold majority, its all about numbers.
Brilliant Joe, just brilliant. The ALP look really uncomfortable when making speeches, maybe Kruddy and Goose could take some charisma lessons from the libs.
JOE....you are a WOFTAM of the first order.

No. It looks like it is empty, but they are in their offices listening and watching via CCTV.
They are still watching, just not in the chamber. This is a common misunderstanding about Parliament.

The ALP:
1) increase Expenditure 2) Increase Taxes
3) Eventually get voted out
4) Liberals come in, improve the economy. (Costello had debt at 0-0.5% of GDP)

labor spends money like a credit card..just buys, buys, buys BEFORE they get the income.
John Howard payed cash...HE LET US WAIT UNTILL HE HAD THE MONEY TO PAY CASH! ..ie..made sure the morgage was paid and had enough in the bank first!
Wonderful job John Howard!
