This series is hilarious, but it would be cool if the characters made fun of the movie as it is playing. I have the "Blood Mania" DVD, and it is so bad it's hilarious.
The show is both a homage and a parody of old "tv horror host" shows, which is why it's structured the way it is - a movie in 3 parts with the inserts between them. We haven't done a full commentary over the film to avoid being overly derivative of MST3000. That being said perhaps we'll give it a try sometime, it could be funny if we did it right I guess...
