Swing low was adopted as a Rugby Song befor I was born. It was sung by rowdy clubs at venues where more ribald lyrics would be frowned upon. There are salacious actions to the Rugby version some of which suggest that swinging low may have someting to do with the size of ones boy-bits. The last match in the diasterous '88 season saw newcomer Chris Oti help England win against Ireland & a group from the Catholic seminary at Douai sang it in his honour and the crowd followed & still do 5stars btw
Great rythm. With your editing skills I couldn't help but think it should have a box in the corner with you doing the hand gestures like they have on telly for the deaf. Know what I mean with the hands ? We all used to do it on school trips and the like sort of miming the song........ok I'll shut up.
Very catchy - I love it! An i have banjo-uke envy!!!
