Ground Zero Mosque, anyone? I think the parellels here and there are pretty cool. Of course we've had 200 years to get over the tension of cowboys, indians, chinese, black slaves.
Me and the boys wanna buy you a drink Chinaman. No thank you, water please. Water is for oriental wussies Chinaman, now I said drink, chink!!. And then Caine opens up that powder keg full of skullthwack, an then.... show's over, nothing to see here, lol. I just hate to see Caine get caught up in the chaos of the times, but I guess it came with the territory.
This the basic plot of every Kung Fu episode: Kane arrives in town to ask for directions or to get a drink of water, local, young, racist, tuffs show up and start bulling "The Chinaman" then things go too far an Kane has to open a case of whoop ass on the boys and surpise, surprise, Kane kicks all their asses! At some point the local Chinese take Kane in and warn him about the "Boys" and as he is doing whatever his sleeves pull up and reveal that he is a Shou(sp) Lin priest! Reverence is given,
this one has a great cast Chef Dan George love him with clint east wood movie and Victor French . But the best 1 is Gary Busey just saying his name makes me lol
Check it at 7:00 ..."The nearest white doctor is in the town of Purgatory...They don't take to strangers, particularly you."
Right--And that's WHY they're in Purgatory!
hahahaha, I LOVE THIS SHOW!

jaafarjomaa: I big time agree. David was to caught up in this world to live the wisdom of the next world.
