  • thanks alot jellynuke ):

  • One does not simply make Jiggypuff go away.

  • DARN YOU REDEADS

  • My god, why do people get scared of the jigglypuff >:( its just a video

ive seen it, and i was not scared

  • @Dusclops4009

i'm pretty sure most people are just jumping on the bandwagon about jigglypuff

  • @DoinkTonberry have you seen it?

  • i LOVE, LOVS, LOVE this temple AND music!!!

  • yeah i almost craped my pants in this part of the game.............

  • What Jigglypuff? Ya mean the 1 that appears in the "Lavender Town backwards"?

  • the only creepy song is the gigyas one D:

  • GET OUT OF HERE JIGGLYPUFF!

  • Am I the only person who thinks that this theme is awesome and not creepy? I like all of the temple songs except for the original fire temple music. The changed version is fine, but the original is just downright creepy.

  • i thought you couldnt get to the shadow temple until all others are beaten. I went like

    Water Temple

    Spirit Temple

    Forest Temple

    Fire Temple

    and obviously finishing with Shadow.

  • The original disturbing video game music

  • Man, that Jigglypuff must be another Jeff The Killer, 'cause it gives me the creeps DX...

  • I remeber when I was younger, I thouth that Bongo Bongo was a torn to pices testicle -_-'' What was I thinking back then?!

  • This was my least favourite temple to play. I enjoyed watching my older brother play it but hated it since I was afraid of the dark when I was younger, as werid as that may sound. But just hand crawling dudes and that white guy with the long neck (sorry forgot names)

  • Weegee is there as well

  • Ocarina of Time certainly had a massive change of tone in this part of the game. First it's like, "save the happy little kokiris! rescue the silly gorons! help your future wife and the zora race! go inside an old torture chamber full of dead bodies, blood, and zombies as a child, then return as an adult only to go inside another chamber full of zombies and fight a giant headless and limbless ghost, and all the time you hear the creepiest music in video game history" O.O

  • @dwevill123 Spirit temple comes before this temple. But I did part of the shadow temple first to get the hover boots to help fight Koume and Kotake!

  • @8redcoins Well you can beat the dungeons in any order you want, but the usual order is the one I mentioned

  • i want a wallmaster as a pet

  • What game this from again?

  • @MLDocuments Wow, never mind... xDDDD

  • @MLDocuments Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time for N64

  • Now I got that Jigglypuff following me too!!!

  • That's not a flower face. That's his neck area where they cut his head off.

  • @jmscheiderer Always wondered about that "head".

  • His flower face really takes away from his creepiness.

  • I here this song and at certain points of it, to this day, I think a Wallmaster is gonna fall on me. I'm 24 and I still look up IRL thinking there's a hand over me

  • It's weird because when i played the game i was maybe 7-8 years old and my gaming blood made me think''Let's do this!''

But still this temple is really great and cool with the puzzles and the atmosphere

  • I think the Bottom of the Well is creepier, also that you have to go there first... wait, can you complete the Shadow Temple without the Lens of Truth??? :/

  • This is my experience: Age six.

Happy I beat the Water Temple (with some help from my father)

see cutcene of burning village, get worried

go to temple, see darkness and mold and grime on walls, hear the music

go down deeper, see the blood and guillotines

shut console off and start crying, do not touch for three weeks

and now, a grown man with the 3DS version, I WANT THE DARK SHADOW TEMPLE BACK

  • Aw crap! I thought that I got away from the jigglypuff! Abort!!!

  • When I was about six playing this temple, I actually really liked this song. The ambience to it, I found it so cool.

  • Also. What's with that jiglypuff you people keep talking about? I don't wanna research myself because i wanna actually sleep.

  • @luigiisthesecond They're talking of the jigglypuff in this video: /watch?v=aKAoJ5oxfeI&feature=related

  • @wyv3rn1 The lavender town theme backwards one?

  • @luigiisthesecond That's the one

  • which game is this from?

  • @foxify100 Seriously? Legend of zelda ocarina of time.

  • i need my brother with me to finsh this on the dead hand always creeps me out :/

  • ...the jigglypuff...I KNOW! *turns on full screen* WTF! JIGGLYPUFF HOW ARE YOU THE PIC FOR THE SONG?!?!

  • what game is this from?

  • @braxtenh Ocarina of Time

  • *favorate

  • Ahhh... good old Shadow Temple... One of my faveorat

  • that isn't bongo bongo's eye. that's his severed neck.

  • Things that were scary as hell back when I first started on the shadow temple part: The ReDeads, the wall masters, and those things with the ridiculously long neck.

  • @TriforceWolf96 Dead hand. I found them awesome to fight. With the miniboss music, it sounded exciting! If it had scarier music I would have freaked out...

  • Okay i wanna know. Where the hell is that Jigglypuff???

  • It looks like Bongo Bongo moves...

  • That JIgglypuff.... Is FOLLOWING me.

  • @Espionage120559 If you're talking about the one in the suggestions (Lavender Town theme backwards)...then yeah...it's following me too...

  • @Espionage120559 Me too. Seriously. What does it want with us? We don't have the blood you crave!!

  • @Espionage120559 IT WONT GO AWAY!!

  • One word: BAAL.

  • Back when i was younger I played this temple, and by god, it was scary, still is.

  • Ahh the memories....of walking in then right back out of the temple.

  • I did I replay of OofT, and I realized that Bongo Bongo was playing the drumline the whole time......

    BUT THEN WHO WAS CHANT?

  • @DaftShellder The damned souls that lost their lives in darkness... :3

  • im 12 years old and ive haw to finish this game to make my parents buy twilght princess (im at shadow temple)

  • @Eon9580 lol have fun with that, I always had my bro go through it until i got a little older

  • Why is it that every time I decide to listen to this or play through OoT, it happens to be nighttime?

  • @BrokenSunLostMoon Why is it that every time i listen to anything creepy It's at night?

  • @Gamemaster25a

dude, the same is for me too, i was listening to lavender town backwards at 11:00 pm

  • Look up Sonic Xtreme music and add some of those to the list, especially lost boss and death.

  • @JamelMayo But that game was never released...

  • im 17 and i just played this temple today and it was creepy as hell

  • wanna scar people combine these songs into one

    forest temple

    shadow temple

    song of unhealing

  • @aquamilotic and I SHIT IN MY PANTS!

  • @aquamilotic forest temple music was awesome!, I was never scared by it :P

  • Never got here because of the Water Temple. Oh, and someone get rid of that Frickin' Jigglypuff. or at least call a Pokexorcist.

  • *drops a Skulltula on you*

  • @OgnarPliskin You fucking.. I got chills

(Imaging a spider as stiff and creepy as a golden skulltula falling onto your neck)

  • I was absolutely terrified of this dungeon. Petrified, I had my mom play it with me.

  • shadow temple wasnt scary at all

THE FOREST TEMPLE WAS holy my hands trembled i literly screamed when i got caught by a wall master my first time

  • @aquamilotic meh, i think the volcano place is much scarier... but the blue bubbles (smokey blue skulls) did scare me alot

  • @aquamilotic The Forest Temple is a work of art. That place is like my home.

  • I sorry, but in a Zelda game, that monster looks a little silly. It looks like a Kirby boss or a Pokemon!

  • Think this is creepy now... but imagine if it was orchestrated

  • No da miedo

  • dosent bug me in the slightest, even if it is silent zelda.

  • Ikana Canyon is much creepier than this.

  • BONGO BONGO,Y U COMIN' AT MEH?

  • The sounds at 0:55 would always scare the shit outta me!

  • that deep voice makes the hairs on my neck go up...

  • 4 fucking video the jiggly puff in the side bar if following me on xD

  • Comment removed

  • "hear drums & bongo's voice" Oh Shi...

  • I used to have nightmares about the Dead Hand when I was little but know the temple doesn't scare me at all.

  • The drums aren't creepy, they're funky as hell, and ruin the creepy vibe of the music. Take the drums out, and this is too creepy to be featured in a Nintendo game, which is probably why they were added.

  • A play-by-play of me entering the temple for the first time, Age 7.

*Walks in, excited about new temple, especially after finally finishing Water*

*Listens to song for about 30 seconds, turn around to leave, turn off console, calmly walk to brother's room*

Me: Yeah, that isn't happening, You have to do Shadow Temple for me.

    Brother: No way in hell.

  • @MrFloppyFish I'm 21 and that's still how I feel

  • @MrFloppyFish Wow that's exactly what happened to me! xD

  • Phew... I finally got away from that jigglypu-.... OH MY GOD!!!

  • @kirbyman100 I just about died of laughter

  • I played this when I was five.

Trust me when I say that this is pretty scary to a five year old.

  • im 11 and i played ocarina of time, this temple isnt scary at all. i dont know why so much people think this level is a nightmare.

  • @TheeROFLZone Hm. Dunno what your age has to do with how scary the temple is to you.. look, I'm not scared by the temple either(I'm 14 btw) But I am a little creeped out by it. There is blood on the floor in one of the rooms.

  • @WeaviletheGreat123 really? i never noticed blood.

  • @TheeROFLZone Oh. Well, there's blood in more than one place. Like, when you fight the dead hand, there's blood stains on it, and there's blood on the floor in one of the last rooms. It's in the one I assume looks like a torture chamber or something.

  • @TheeROFLZone i think its a nightmare to DO

  • I played alot of the games on your list many years ago, and I dont remember them being so creepy!

  • oh is see noone's talking about BEN this time. Now is my chance : Uncle BEN!!1

  • Gee,the n64 zelda games sure had some dark moments, huh? :)

  • Ghosts moaning all over the place, the sounds of the dead trapped in here, and bongos in the distant background?

This isn't background music, this is what it actually sounded like in the temple. Yeesh!

  • I never realized how insanely disturbing this boss was until I saw this picture.

  • I didn't find this track very disturbing when I played the game. It's when the theme is ALONE when it freaks me out, because Link's running can't drown it out. Oh, and get this: I actually found the Shadow temple HARDER than the Water temple.

  • Bongo Bongo was easily the simplest boss in the game.

  • you know...Bongo Bongo is my fav boss of all time(next to Majora's Incarnation) but that was my least fav temple-it was fucking freaky!i really hope the people saying that it's gonna be creepier in the remake are lying...*shudders*

  • @Substitute102 the dungeon itself is now bad in 3d but the well that is a different storie

  • @tfp1119 ok...

  • @ShaininguSuikun

    Cool story bro.

  • ROFLMAO SERIOUSLY?

I go out on my swing in the middle of the night, by the woods, and listen to this on my iPod (as it is downloaded onto there). ;) Not really that scary. Trufax

  • OH GOD, THE NOSTALGIA

  • This is my favorite temple in all Zelda history :)

  • Suits the eerie atmosphere of the Shadown Temple to a T.

  • As if Bongo Bongo didn't look bad enough, they made him really vieny in the 3D version....

Now Bongo Bongo totally looks like a Schlongo Schlongo

  • @0OO8 Despite what someone said earlier in the comments, a lot of stuff in this place looks creepier and/or more disgusting in the 3DS remake. I think they did a good job.

  • When I listened to this I realized that some of the stuff I thought was sound effects was just part of the music. I jumped so much in this temple, especially at 0:55.

  • I used to be creeped the fuck out by the shadow temple, but then I turned 11

  • @OfolenWS

But really what I'm saying is that I never really maned up to any of the temples in this game until I was in, like, middle school. I had always had my older brother beat the temples for me when I was 10 or 11. But It wasn't until my little sister started to make ME beat dungeons for her in Wind Waker that I finally maned up and just beat games for myself. I even blindly beat Wind Waker years ago, and still to this day my older brother hasn't.

  • @OfolenWS lol same thing happened to me!

  • bongo bongo is definitely the coolest zelda boss ever

  • Epic but creepy music ^^

  • @MistehPotter They made the 3D version more "family friendly" like Dead Hand not having blood splatters

  • @DrPepper797 Weak... :/

  • @InfurnusChaotix I know

  • i don't remember Bongo-Bongo being purple in the actual game

  • @arcadesega it is :)

  • I could never beat this temple at night or when there was no one in the house xP

  • @MistehPotter It was fun though.

  • Guillotines.....

  • This was a bit spooky at first, but really, I ended up just sick of it.

Wait, that shifting noise was part of the music GODDAMMIT!

  • I only got to this temple once (the one time I beat the game) because of the difficulty of the water temple. But I would always freak out when I was younger at the bottom of the well because of this music. I would not go down there unless someone was watching me play

  • I hear those drums? This is the announcement that Bongo Bongo is coming.

    Thumbs up if you understood.

  • @FelipeOrochi I was going to give you a thumbs up... untill you said thumbs up.

  • @FelipeOrochi For that matter, is there any part of this song that you might not hear in a temple full of ghosts?

This isn't music, it's the Shadow Temple's background noise.

  • @twilitbeing What? Are you telling me that the background noises are made in rhythm? WTF!

  • @FelipeOrochi I was speculating / theorizing / whatever it is you do with fictional things that can't actually be proven. I could have made that clearer, I admit.

  • @FelipeOrochi Understood? Does that mean we know who the boss is?

  • hear this theme backwards...now that's something more kinda disturbing

  • Bongo Bongo, just strumming softly on his drums waiting for me.

  • Bongo Bongo played this song with his band. You can hear his drums, and the reason he's so pissed is cause everybody bailed from the band. Now all he does is sit around in his dungeon and play the band's hit song for adventurers

  • I didn't find this level scary. In fact it was the most straightforward level in the game, and Bongo Bongo was AWESOME. He made his own theme music.

  • Bongo bongo made me freak out and start shaking. ._." But I beat him. Yay. :P After 3 weeks of anxecity attacks. SUCSESS!

  • Anyone else think that the bongos in this track are being played by Bongo Bongo?

  • Wanna know what this makes me think of? BEING SUCKED INTO AN ENDLESS PIT OF DESPAIR!

  • @MistehPotter dont re mind me i already did it twice in 3-d master quest and the regular one...

  • WELCOME TO THE SHADOW TEMPLE!!! here has gathered hyrules bloody past and history..... there is also an invisable man in the basement playin a giant drum.....

  • Fact: ReDeads eat people...They dont raep you...

People are only afraid of them because they were scared of being raeped...

    WELCOME TO THE 21'ST CENTURY!

  • what game is this from?

  • @Dodolord679 OoT. Everyone knows that

  • I think Forest Temple Track was way creepier than this one.

  • 1 person was traumatized as a kid

  • The whole arc scared the shit out of me, not just the temple itself.

going into the well as a kid.

    the dead hands.

    and finally the temple itself.

the whole damn chapter is scary as shit.

  • People. we have to admit you were pretty fu**ing scared of this music when we were younger dont we?

  • @D3mO44 Definitely. This music is why I could not get the Shadow Medallion until the age of 12; 3 years after I got through the well O_O

  • @D3mO44 I'm still scared of it now. *looks down*

    Crap...

  • @D3mO44 agreed, couple dwith invisible things and zombies and hands that strangle XD

  • Anyone want to hear it backwards? I sure do!

  • after beating the game about 20 times this music isn't too bad

  • Majoras Mask was the last Zelda title which was a little bit creepy.
