the shaman may be in resto gear, but she is spec'd as a elemental shaman. Leveling as resto will be possible, but specing dps will decrease the pain of leveling :-)

Yeah the thing about wotlk for healers is that damage and healing are combined into one stat known as spell power. That is probably why this shaman is in healing gear and doing some decent dmg. If you look at their other vids about resto healing you can see they are in the same gear.

Basically spell power was implemented to give all healers decent dps for whatever reason they need it. So you can stay holy/resto and still level to 80 and quest solo and do dungeons if you want. I like the change.
